Holiday Inn Express, just with the brand and chain, it lives to its name. Nothing fancy, but very practical and close to the transport options and close proximity to major areas. It's also bit away from the downtown rush, but easy transport to the town in 15mins bus ride or taxi. The staff were brilliant and always responsive to any of your requests. Nice small pool and gym, all very accessible and does the job.

1. I had to leave for airport BEFORE breakfast. 2. Enjoyed beautifully remodeled room/shower 3. ... though lots of clanking from ? elevator cables or plumbing or both. 4. Staff were quite lovely - upbeat and friendly.. made a difference. (gave upgrade to room and 'free drink' coupon) - enjoyed my favorite Kahluea, but coffee wasn't hot ... and not covered by coupon.. oh well!. 5. Came / left by Grab car. Nice and large driveway made arrival/departure safe and easy. 6. ENJOYED the VEGETARIAN restaurant (not yours) on SECOND floor!! Happily Surprised when I Googled 'vegetarian restaurants near me' and found one 9 floors below me !! 7. Overall happy to have this pleasant one-nighter since I'd errored in making initial 1 week reservation out at Jurong East property and needed extra night before heading home to San Diego >> thanks Expedia and HIX! ~~ Robert Dwaine Butterfield Poway, California

Good value given the location. The room we had needs refurbishment. It's a standard Holiday Inn Express experience with standard food. Good if you want a vanilla experience. The included breakfast had an expansive buffet with North American and Asian food available. It's right on a confluence of highways, so noise was a bit of an issue, but not a deal breaker.

Good quiet hotel, a bit further from the city so used Grab transport a lot. Hotel restaurant was good, bright clean rooms. 8 would stay here again
