The hotel was in an excellent location. It was 3 minutes to the Main Street and several buses. The MRT was a 29 minute walk and safe at night. Lots of cheap eats close and laundry just down the street about 8 minutes. Would recommend for active travellers that don’t mind some local flavours.

Room was clean but noisy. You could hear a loud noise whenever someone from upstairs flush the toilet. It's a budget hotel and I get it. However, it lacked many basic items such as a smaller size towel, waste basket in the bathroom and a cup.

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. It's situated in Geylang, old style Singapore. The rooms are not large but if, like us, you are going to be out most of the day, they are perfect for a good night's sleep. The staff are always very helpful. It's about a ten minute walk to the MRT. Geylang has many excellent Hawker style eateries offering great fresh cooked food which are excellent value. If you're lookin for a comfortable clean base without the frills, this hotel is great value.

The area was generally safe, but there were some loiterers who spent time right outside the building during the night. I additionally saw a mouse in the street the hotel was located on. The hotel itself was clean and basic in line with what you would expect from a budget hotel. The beds were short twin sized beds, as such you would be uncomfortable if you are over 180 cm. My only other concern with the room was that the shower head would not point down, it would spray horizontally. As such, we needed to reposition the head every few minutes to be able to wash ourselves. This becomes quite annoying, and I found it to be a gaping design flaw which can easily be fixed to provide a better experience for guests.

Convenient hotel near the National Stadium

I booked this hotel as it is within walking distance to the National Stadium (less than 15 mins walk), and I read some online reviews too. My stay was trouble free, front desk staff were friendly, I was able to check in around 2 pm, and the cleaning crew cleaned my room daily. WIFI works but can be a little slow in the evening time when more guests were using it. I walked to Mountbatten MRT - took me around 12 mins. Eateries, 7-11 nearby - within 5 mins walk. This is a budget hotel, room size and shower area are not large, sound proof could be better but I found it ok as it was usually quiet nearer to or after midnight. My final night, around 10 pm there was a guest who sat at the end of the corridor (on the 3rd floor) and spoke on the phone for over 30 mins, it was not very considerate of this guest as he could have done this on the ground floor reception sitting area. Luckily he did not speak any longer otherwise I would have sought help from the front desk. Overall I was satisfied with my stay, I was in the room for less than 12 hours each day, to me - I felt safe and encountered no issues in the surrounding area. I noted they have luggage storage facility but as I checked out in the morning to head to the airport, I did not use it. Those who wish for higher level of comfort with spacious rooms and other onsite facilities, wish to be close to tourist attractions / big shopping malls, they should revisit options and book elsewhere.

This place is affordable and ideal if you're just looking for a spot to sleep on a budget. The room is quite small, offering no space for storing clothes. There's a tiny desk, but it's not large enough to do any meaningful work. Essentially, it's just a place to sleep, which is what I was looking for, so it worked out fine for me. However, I didn't expect it to be so tiny, and after 3-4 days, I started to feel a bit cramped and wished the room were more spacious. On the bright side, there are many inexpensive restaurants nearby, offering delicious and affordable meals, which was definitely a plus. The location is also convenient, with a 10-minute walk to Kallang MRT and plenty of bus options. The area comes alive at night, and I appreciated the numerous foot massage places available.

The property is located in a calm and safe area of Geylang (Kallang). The staff here were really helpful from day one and throughout my stay. Initially, I was skeptical about the area, but that turned out not to be the case. It is very safe for solo travelers. I would highly recommend this hotel for people considering a budget-friendly option (as the name suggests). I had some issue with the initially allocated room, but it was quickly resolved by the frontdesk team and I was given a new room. Overall, I had a very good stay here in Singapore on my first international trip. I'm looking forward to another stay! :)
