The area was generally safe, but there were some loiterers who spent time right outside the building during the night. I additionally saw a mouse in the street the hotel was located on.
The hotel itself was clean and basic in line with what you would expect from a budget hotel. The beds were short twin sized beds, as such you would be uncomfortable if you are over 180 cm. My only other concern with the room was that the shower head would not point down, it would spray horizontally. As such, we needed to reposition the head every few minutes to be able to wash ourselves. This becomes quite annoying, and I found it to be a gaping design flaw which can easily be fixed to provide a better experience for guests.
