Disappointing revisit to W Hotel

I have indicated to pay for room deco and arrival timing. Email sent to hotel and was acknowledged. Upon arrival i have to wait for more than 30min to get my room ready. Lighting flickering in room throughout the night. Front desk service attitude was poor

Areas of improvement

It’s only upon checking out that we found out actually able to drive into Sentosa for free. Would be nice if W can reach out to guest upon booking to find out the mode of getting to W. We have been driving in and out Sentosa during the stay and incur some unnecessary expenses In addition, we notice the bathroom door is unable to close fully thus floor was wet after shower.

I had a great experience at W Singapore - Sentosa Cove. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering a wide variety of choices, and the best part is that it's free for kids under 6 years old. The bed was large and comfortable, and I had requested a baby cot in advance, which was provided. The welcome drink was a nice, refreshing touch. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel also offers a beautiful view, adding to the overall experience. In-room dining could benefit from more variety, but the service was excellent. They even offered kids' slippers and baby skincare products, which was a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended!

Not much to do around the area other than dining. Must take a bus or taxi to visit surrounding areas. Other than that, a very nice and pleasant place to stay for relaxation. Loved that their pools are open 24h too.

Overall good except for the TV and remote control which have some issues. They were however rectified on the same day. My son and I were bitten by some insects - not sure if they were bed bugs. Suggest you have it checked. There were cigarette smell in the living area - however the Manager claimed that this is normal :(.
