What a great find, brilliant location, central but not in the thick of it. Good showers, comfortable beds and good breakfasts. Also loved the deck where you could swim straight into the lake. Very helpful staff and very reasonable rates. Will def stay again.

Firstly location was perfect. A very short walk from the ferry. The hotel is on the water so take up the option of a balcony room so you can enjoy the views and the sunset. Nothing was too hard for the staff. We asked and got a kettle and a man came to spray the insects that do come in if the doors are open. Plenty of eateries around and music often playing in the two restaurants either side of us. Breakfast plentiful. Highly recommend.

Directly on the lake in historic Sirmione. Beautiful sun terrace with great vistas. Stayed in room with lake view and could not have been happier. Very helpful front desk

Hotel Flaminia – Sirmione, Italy If you’ve never been to Sirmione before, arriving can feel a bit overwhelming—but Hotel Flaminia makes the process much easier. The staff helped secure a reserved parking space nearby and coordinated an electric cart to transport us and our luggage directly to the hotel entrance. Check-in was seamless, with genuinely welcoming attendants. We booked a junior suite, and it exceeded expectations in cleanliness, comfort, and especially the stunning lake view. Though we typically avoid dining at hotel restaurants, this was a clear exception. The chef and kitchen staff delivered meals that were beautifully prepared, flavorful, and fairly priced. Anna and Louisa, part of the support team, added to the experience with their warmth and attentiveness. In short, Hotel Flaminia is well worth considering. From start to finish, our stay was smooth, scenic, and truly enjoyable

We loved this hotel. Sirmione was crazy busy but we felt very secluded from the crowds and had a balcony that overlooked the lake so it really felt special and private. The furnishings were exceptional and the location can't be beat.

The hotel was right in the heart of town with everything just outside the door. The deck on the lake was a beautiful place to sit while others in town ran around. The arrival and parking instructions were a bit unclear as was the charge for luggage shuttle service. Very central and easy to walk to everything.

My partners airpods were stolen from our room and no attempt of help from the reception staff. We sat down for drinks on the terrace and were treated like outsiders, we were told we couldnt sit on the comfy seats as they sat 4 and there was 2 of us however on the chairs next to us there was only 2. Another member of staff then let us as she realised we were guests of the hotel however she had to argue with her other staff member. The steps down to the water were dangerous they need to be cleaned. Compared to other hotels in the area I would not chose this one, the superior rooms did not even have a balcony compared to the normal double rooms which do and have a better view.

The property was in a great location, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection. We were in a newer room and it was very clean and a good size. A few things could be improved, sound proofing between rooms and outside the large glass windows especially if you're a light sleeper. Overall would definitely recommend.

Staying at Filminia was one of the most memorable highlights of our Italian Grande Tour. Nestled in the heart of Sirmione, this charming, family-run hotel offers more than just comfort—it offers character, soul, and an unforgettable human story. The real treasure here is Rosella, the 79-year-old hotel owner and fifth-generation hotelier. She’s a triathlete, martial artist, yoga enthusiast, and—believe it or not—recently biked across India. Rosella still works every day, making sure the hotel and adjacent restaurant are run with care, warmth, and an incredible sense of tradition. She embodies the spirit of hospitality and heritage. Rooms are cozy and full of character, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the location is perfect for exploring the lake, the Grotte di Catullo, and the charming old town. Breakfast was fresh and served with genuine warmth—just like everything else here. If you’re looking for a hotel with heart, history, and a host you’ll never forget, Filminia is the place. We left with full hearts and hope to return soon.

Fantastic hotel in a prime location in Sirmione. The staff were great, helpful and friendly. The decking area on the lake is really good, ideal to take in the views with a drink. The room was a junior suite on the top floor. Great views from the room out of multiple floor to ceiling windows. The amenities were great and we were very happy there. The only very slight downside was that there were birds nesting in the roof, which caused a slight disturbance in the early hours. This is nature and can’t be helped but if that wasn’t there no issues what so ever.
