The Lodge is a great place to relax and unwind. The facilities could use an update and a bit of TLC, but overall it’s nice and the setting is beautiful. I will definitely return.

The worst stay in years. When I got there they said they had no rooms and I didn't have a reservation. I showed them the reservation and found the lady I talked to Friday.I let her know on Friday I would not be there because of transportation problems. She said no problem see you Saturday. I will make a note in your reservation we will be here anytime Saturday. When I got there no room. Then they said they would give me an upgrade to a cabin. My reservation was for Lodge Kingsize bed handicapped. They sent me to a cabin on the side of a hill. Three flights of stairs,washed out path and filthy accommodations. Went back to reject room. They said that was all they had. There is really no place to stay for a 50 mile radius. It is Father's day weekend. I was there for a funeral and made is whole situation much worse. Super displeased!

The hotel was nice wouldve gave 5 star, but 1 day before arriving they sent a text from a random number saying the pool was closed for your stay. With having 4 different hotels booked didnt know which one it was to book somewhere else. They would not offer a discount also. Room service does not clean room or give new towels daily and if you when we asked was told we had to be in the room and it took over 3 hrs waiting for towels.

Nice setting for lodging in the park. Cottage needs updating. The smell of smoke (from years of people burning wood in the fireplace) was excessive. The floors were clean, but spiders were in most corners of every room. Parking available on road to cottages. To access entry to cottage must take walkway with lots of stairs (~42 stairs for our cottage). Breakfast at lodge was marginal. Hiking and activities on property.

Directions to the cottage given by front desk staff at the lodge were very poor. Cottage smelled musty and was very basic. Bathroom was not cleaned very well and there dead bugs on the floor.

It wasn’t a bad place to stay for the price. Especially if you like hiking, and the outdoors But the cabin could use a few updates. And we had gone out for the day for a hike, and came back to a whole lot of mouse droppings, and a half eaten muffin. And it wasn’t me who ate the muffin. lol. I get it, you’re in the woods and You should expect animals and critters, but made for a restless night, not knowing where they were, and if they were going to come back out. People were friendly, stuff was very nice and like I said, it wasn’t a bad place. Just don’t like sharing my space if you aren’t going to spare the bill.

Absolutely beautiful area. Hotel was awesome! Service was wonderful and room was great with an awesome view of the surrounding wooded area. Restaurant had delicious food and excellent service, and the Tavern bartenders and atmosphere was amazing! Can’t wait to go back!

Stayed in cottage. There was no Wi-Fi, tv had no instructions and as far as I know didn’t work. Park employee didn’t know how to work TV. Could have more Kitchen utensils. Like the free breakfast at the lodge. Hiking was wonderful. Good maps at lodge and welcome center. Bar at lodge was a nice addition.
