I was on the 7th floor directly above the bar. Although noisy outside, it was quiet in the room with the window shut. Room was quite warm without a fan/a-c being available on the first night, but this was then switched on for the summer on the next night. Ceilings were completely undecorated with grey bricks and beams showing. Very efficient shower. Breakfast was very good. TVs in the bar area had sports channels, but these were not available in the room. This was a bit odd because no-one actually watched the TV in the bar, and it would be impossible to hear anything anyway with the overly loud noise.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was generous and yummy.There was construction at night around the hotel, 1 am for drilling not too fun,. I guess there is not too much to do about that:)

Overall nice place to stay in a busy town. Sea view had lovely view across to Valletta. Room was spacious and clean. Bit of noise from bars below and road but of you are higher up or city view it should be ok. Few niggles in bathroom but it was spacious and clean. only real problem was the lack of hot water on some occasions. Continental breakfast was great with pleanty of fresh food. kitchen looked really clean and tidy. They did a great choice of meals in the evening if you want but there are loads of eateries along the front to chose from. Busses and boats were readily available to make it easy to get around. All staff were great.

Lovely stay. Hotel is in a wonderful position, close to bars, and 5 minutes walk to a dozen or more further restaurants and bars. It is just 5 minutes walk to the ferry too and the bus stops. Staff were so helpful and friendly; rooms were spotless; breakfast was plentiful. However, the view from our room really made our stay: right across to Valletta which lit up at night. Really enjoyed our stay.

Overall, a comfortable hotel with great staff. We were fortunate to be on the top floor, with a lovely balcony, far enough away from the loud music coming from the bars. Breakfast was fine and located at the adjoining restaurant/bar next door. At night, the sidewalk cuts through the bars where you are dodging smokers (a lot of smokers!). Best to walk along the shore. Finally, the reception area has a strong odour which is unpleasant when you enter. It is not present on the other floors. We enjoyed our stay in Malta.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Room was incredibly large, lovely waterfall shower, great balcony overlooking the sea. Plenty of restaurants and shops all within 10 minutes or less (walking). Ferry stop to Valetta directly across the street. Helpful and kind staff. Breakfast had a good selection and there wasn’t a limit to how much you could have. Excellent stay!!

Great Stay

The fabulous view and balcony was the highlite. The hotel had everything we needed and is very central with many restaurants and bars. Great breakfast included in restaurant next door. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The bus stop is very close and we took the local bus to many Malta locations. The ferry is also very close. I would recommend.

Excellent base for our holiday

Really modern hotel, with large rooms and friendly reception staff. A perfect base for our holiday! The breakfast was great, and included various continental and cooked options. The vegetarian cooked options were relatively good (scrambled egg, beans, tomato, boiled eggs) which was a great for me. The street is a bit loud / busy at the weekend but we literally never heard anything from our room.

the staff was great, very friendly and helpful. breakfast was good too, altho no variety for the 4 breakfasts we had there. the area is very walkable and convenient as it’s close to the bus stops and ferry. there’s tons of restaurants along the promenade, and while it’s very loud down there, you couldn’t really hear the noise in the room which was perfect. we stayed in a waterfront room and the balcony was a perfect spot to watch the sunrise. the room had USB and USB-C outlets, 1 on each side of the bed, and one on the desk which is really convenient if you forget to bring a plug adapter (which btw is the UK plug type G). only downside is how hard the bed is. i saw it mentioned in the reviews but i didn’t think much of it, but oh man they definitely did a number on my back, especially because we stayed there for 5 nights. crazy thing is my partner didn’t mind it at all while every night and morning was a struggle for me. other than that, we liked our stay here.

Hotel is clean, tidy, and conveniently located, with relatively easy transport links to a lot of the island, or the Valetta transport hub which can reach the areas not covered by the buses going from or through Silema. If I had any niggle it would be the shower design, practically guaranteed to get water all over the bathroom floor, but that was a minor issue.
