5 / 5
Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Stayed in a 3 person room. Used the pool facilities which were lovely in the morning. Had dinner in the restaurant also which was very nice and suited our needs perfectly.
Stayed here after playing a gig in Sligo. Came back late and the reception advised us that we could order drinks to the room by scanning a QR code. It was not fit for purpose. Alcoholic beverages were available but soft drinks were not. All we wanted was a 7up or something similar. The online thing wasn’t working, rang to reception, classic “computer says no” situation unfortunately. The staff were very helpful and dropped us up some mi-wadi, they could do that because it was free - but it showed the flaw in the system that they couldn’t take a simple order for a soft drink over the phone due to an app issue.
A bit of flexibility would go a long way here and certainly would be more suitable to any older customers who would find QR codes and online ordering to be a challenge.
Other than that, had a mighty time. Will stay again.
