Carolina Coast changed the description between the time I rented the property & when I contacted them after check-in - the property was NOT as listed. At rental time, it listed FOUR kings, 1 bedroom of FOUR bunks, & THREE queens. It now lists ONE king, 2 bedrooms of FOUR bunks, & 5 queens. (Photos have been updated!) We were able to make it work, however. I had to contact the host a number of times - once on a Sunday to report that a broken pane of glass still had shards in the track & was hazardous to little fingers & about issues with the elevator (stopped below floor level. Window was taped off on Monday & tech (don't remember name) reset the elevator & showed us how to reset it. I called during office hours on Monday afternoon to report that the 3rd floor HVAC system wasn't working; since it was still under warranty, they were unable to get the vendor there after-hours but did send John to install portable units in the 3 bedrooms on that floor. Guests were able to sleep. Called them again Tuesday morning. HOWEVER, they did NOT contact Dixon Heating & Air until Tuesday AFTERNOON. Dixon was there around 4 PM & bypassed a sensor until it could be fixed. The after-hours people were very communicative & helpful even giving me their personal phone number. Can't say the same about the during-hours people. Have asked for a credit but have not heard back from them regarding THAT. Kitchen was well appointed - plenty of dishes. One bath was missing a trash receptacle.
