Made a great central location, and the river being right out back was a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable and seemed new. The room did get a pretty warm, but we put the box fan up in the window and it really cooled it down.

I booked this hotel for my grandson and his girl while we stayed at the Aspen. After booking our room Hotels.com was out of rooms at the Aspen. I knew they would love the Kenai River Lodge. While right on the road through town, it is also right on the famous fish river Kenai, and has a small bar area on the roof. It is an older rustic lodge and just perfect for my outdoorsy twenty-year-olds.

This hotel was primarily focused on fishermen and fisherwomen and it was still very nice for anyone to stay. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.
