Fully equipped kitchen and well stocked pantry. This private self contained unit is tucked away just steps from the water. Ideal for anyone looking for a quiet place to unwind and relax. Take a stroll along the property’s 200-foot boardwalk and dock to immerse yourself in the ocean’s sights and sounds. Borrow a crab trap and try your luck off the dock! October to March is when big Dungeness crab are most plentiful and the crabbing in Sooke Harbour is fantastic! Take a kayak out for a leisurely paddle! Bring your boat? We have over 200ft of dock space! Sit on the terrace and star gaze or play a game of bocci ball together. Seascape Inn is a small boutique hotel situated on the Sooke Inlet, just a kilometre from Sooke town centre.

Shared amenities include the parking lot, a large private dock, direct beach access, and a scenic oceanfront terrace with a grassy area perfect for relaxation. A communal laundry facility is available for guest use from 9 AM to 7 PM.

Adventure awaits with two complimentary kayaks (first-come, first-served) for exploring Sooke Harbour’s tranquil waters. Guests can also try their hand at crabbing with provided crab traps, offering a true coastal experience. October to March is prime season for catching abundant Dungeness crab right off the dock!

*Note: The dock, boardwalk, and beach are accessed via several stairs, which may not be suitable for guests with mobility challenges.*

We had an amazing stay in Sooke. The cabin had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the extra toiletries, the board hanged and the special gift to help celebrate our anniversary. The king size (more like a California king) bed was huge and comfortable. Thanks for the welcoming stay, we would definitely return.

Great communication from Tiffany; we made ourselves at home in a perfectly stocked beach house and really enjoyed the hot tub on cool, clear October nights. Our only drawback was for our older bodies, we could feel the bed springs, but if you're only staying for a couple of days it probably won't bother you.

You will not be disappointed with this unit. It is private with a view. I couldn't believe being able to sit in a hot tub with a view of the water and the stars. There was a telescope in the upper yard if you wanted to focus on the stars. Everything was in the kitchen to prepare all of our meals and pack our lunches for exploring the beach trails up to Port Renfrew which was 90 min away or exploring Victoria which was 40 min. This was our half way point to explore Vancouver Island. We came back to enjoy a cocktail on the upper deck overlooking the bay. There were 46 stairs to this unit which we didn't mind but if stairs are a challenge for you than the Beach House may not be for you. The seals like to enjoy the deck area in front of Seascape if people aren't there swimming, fishing or kayaking. We highly recommend this rental. Thank you Tiffany and staff.

Such a lovely place! The unit is extremely well appointed, clean, modern, and you absolutely cannot beat the view! We had such a nice time, just looking out onto the water, watching the tides come in and out, and just hanging out on the dock or on our little patio and enjoying the view. Because the unit is on the water, it does require walking all the way to the back of the property and down about two flights of steps. But so worth it! If I could change anything, I would suggest that perhaps a few of the shrubs be trimmed a bit to maximize the view even more. (Especially the ones in front of the bedroom window). We would absolutely stay here again and hope to someday.

Perfect Getaway

My wife and I stayed for four nights in mid-July 2025. We only wish we could have stayed longer! This cottage was everything we could have hoped for. Beautifully decorated, sparkling clean and well-equipped: the kitchen lacked for nothing, even coffee was provided. Of course the property is blessed with a wonderful setting on Sooke Inlet. We loved the beauty and calm of the waterfront, with perfect sunny weather, a refreshing change from the heat and humidity back home. Since our stay was part of a longer visit to the area, we did use the laundry facilities, and these too were top-notch.I should mention that there are 47 steps from the paved path down to the front door. This is not a criticism - they are well maintained and well lit by motion-sensing lights after dark - but it might be a concern for somebody with mobility issues. If the listing and photos appeal to you, don’t hesitate to book a stay: they come close to capturing the beauty and serenity of the place, but it’s even better in reality!
