Friendly, helpful desk staff. Spacious parking. Nice breakfast selection and dining area. On the negative side... No TV channel guide in room. Between days 1 and 2 of a 2-day stay, room service did not make the beds nor replace used towels.

Arrived at hotel and it was poorly lit, weeds growing out of control. We turned and left as we felt very uncomfortable staying. Had to forfeit our prepaid money but better to feel safe.

We were greeted by 5 flies that seemed to muliply the longer we stayed. Beds are hard. Theres a weird smell. Air conditioner worked great. Decent location. Overall run down. Breakfast was decent.

The room wasn’t very good. Carpet was wet by the window. Spiders everywhere. Just wasn’t kept up very well. We were very disappointed and this why we left as early as we did. We will never book here ever good

Pick somewhere else.

I felt like the older building seemed as well maintained as it could have been. Its very obvious the owner cares and tries his best on his part. They have a selection of dvds and players available which we thought was really cool. A simple breakfast appeared to be listed the night before so you could plan to eat there or not. It looked like some updates were in the works. The desk staff left much to be desired. Check in wasnt terrible, but aside from our keys we didnt get much more info about amenities or the area. He made it clear as we were paying that booking through hotels.com was an inconvenience for them. When we checked out at midnight due to bedbugs the desk clerk couldnt have cared any less and made it clear that because we booked through hotels.com he wasnt going to be bothered to get us a refund or even apologize (raises the question in my mind as to how often this is happening). Thankfully hotels.com moved swiftly to rectify the situation, which is why we book our stays in unknown areas through them. If theres any plus side to this its that my kids have a hilarious story to tell of driving back to Michigan in the middle of the night because mom took one "aw hell no" look at those bugs and booked it home with the ac and loud music blaring. We wont forget this trip, thats for sure. Also the county fair was prettt cool.

Decent place but keep an eye out on your valuables

I booked a stay for one night last weekend. I left my toiletry bag full of medications used to treat a chronic condition. If you have a chronic condition that is used by medications to keep under control so that you don’t die, you’ll understand when I mean you remember exactly where they were sitting based on the ritual of taking the medications, etc. They were magically ‘not found’ later that day of my checkout. The 2nd shift agent was great and very helpful, but the room service ladies and the people on staff the next day were far from less than helpful. I was treated as I was in their way, and have not received any follow up call since I reported the meds as missing. I was exactly two places with the medication. In my vehicle to check-in, amd inside the hotel. They are not in my car after turning it inside out multiple times. So the room is the only place my toiletry bag could’ve been.

This place needs a complete overhaul. The grounds are in bad shape and the building needs much work. The listing was very misleading in Expedia and who ever did the reviews were paid to do so. The first room that we were given was horrible and nothing like the photo of the room we chose. The floor was all pealing up and there was mold all around the tub and the smell was horrible. The mattress, I believe was the original. Horrible. We complained and were given a room next door. This one was somewhat better. Newer mattress and some updates but still below any best western we have had in the past. No coffee maker and was told that Best Western has eliminated them yet we were just at one in different area and they had them. We had to purchase a small coffee maker. The breakfast described in Expedia was totally different than was offered. No eggs, no bacon or sausage. It’s a big let down. We were very very disappointed and will not stay with Best Western again.

Such a mess here. Room full of flies and bugs. Had to ask for a fly swatter. No coffee maker in the.room. No drain plug in the sink (Don't drop anything in the sink for sure) Price incredibly high for a horrific motel room.

The hotel was nice. I had a pet with me and I called to verify no fees and no regulation were going to charge extra and everything was confirmed and cost were covered when booking. A different worker charged me a fee anyways when I got there so that didn’t really make sense. The place itself was nice but the workers just need to communicate better to make customer service more convenient.
