spider webs were in the door jamb or the bathroom door, the sink did not provide adequate water as the aerator was plugged. The room did not have a waste basket and one was not delivered when requested. The bed was the good point.

Sad this go around

Have come to this hotel the last few years with family and got a couple rooms each time. This time under new ownership. Becoming outdated. Handle missing on refrigerated, out of order dishwasher & hardly any pots or pans. Not as clean as normal. Nice comment is that the staff was friendly and very helpful with any questions. Someone on our floor smelled heavily of pot & also made the elevator smell heavily of it. Not a good look when you have kids and in a smoke free hotel. Pool smelled heavily of pool chemicals and almost hard to breath in pool area. Come over several times to the South Bend area. Maybe looking for different set up next time. Just okay this go around.

A fire alarm went off at approx 430 am. It appeared staff did not know how to turn the alarm as they were walking in and out of the property when it occurred and were on the phone for that duration. As such patrons were not able to be in their rooms for an hour due to the alarm. No communication was provided by the staff as to the situation. Additionally nothing was done to alleviate the situation via a refund or additional comped night. Finally with the communication no message was provided when we were able to return to our rooms Additionally maid services were not available during the stay and there was less than ideal cleanliness around the facility. There was a large white stain on the chair in the room which was concerning. Breakfast was provided however it was lacking compared to previous stays. Food looked to be leftover from the previous day and there were not many options available. Cream cheese was not refrigerated or maintained at temperature and some of the food had mold present (on bagels). Check out procedures were not present. There was no attendant at the front during checkout time and no instructions as to what to do which was confusing. I’ve stayed 5 times and there has never been instruction as to what to do or where to put keys.

Need more organization

Took over 20 minutes to check in bc staff could not determine if they had a clean double room. They ended up giving us two king size rooms which is not want we wanted. Hotel was full of young soccer families. We gad kids running crazy through the halls way past midnight

The staff were really friendly, but the hotel was not very clean. It didnt look like any vacuuming or dusting had happened in a long time. The towels were fraying. The sheets were ick. And it smelled bad. Would not stay here again.

Our first morning there was no hot food left for breakfast, we waited 15 mins for more to be brought out but never happened. BUT the other 3 breakfasts we did have were very tasty! The bed was comfy, but the small pillows weren't. We loved the big room with the kitchen too. The staff was very friendly. Would def stay here again.
