Nice rooms clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and good service all round. Restaurant was good and decent menu- the chowder was really nice and plenty of fresh seafood, didn’t disappoint.

Unfortunately, our stay at Hospitality Carnarvon was far from restful. While the room was tidy, staff were polite & breakfast was fresh, several serious issues made the experience distressing. The toilet walls had bad water damage & the shower covered in extreme mould & mildew. We had to lay a towel down to shower on as it was so dirty. Folded sheets were used instead of a proper comforter cover, which came undone and exposed an unhygienic blood stained doona. The door lock could be disengaged from inside by simply pulling the handle & with our room right by the water, our toddler could have walked out unnoticed. We had to stay hyper-alert the entire time. Most concerning was a violent guest who screamed threats, smashed doors (including ours) & kicked walls for over three hours right near our car too. Our toddler woke crying every 20 minutes all night due to being terrified. We called police but couldn’t get through. Staff said “I’m sorry but at least everyone is safe”. There was also confusion with our check-in paperwork, our credit card form was misplaced & we had to fill it out again. While staff were courteous, the combination of hygiene issues, safety risks, and lack support made this a stay we wouldn’t repeat.

This is the second time we have stayed there - whilst rooms are a bit old and tired, the staff are excellent, rooms clean and beds very comfortable. It is very good value and I would stay again

This property is an older style however the rooms are a good size with lots of wardrobe & bench space.Facilities in the rooms are good .Beds are comfortable. The on site restaurant Sails serves very good food with generous helpings.
