The room was clean, quiet, well-maintained, spacious and very comfortable. Perfect for an overnight stop on the trip from Melbourne to Sydney. Great dinner at the family pub in town. Tuckerbox Motor Inn was a great choice – will definitely stay here again.

Easily the best motel in Gundagai and makes for a great stop in between Melbourne and Sydney . Always exceptionally clean, spacious rooms which feel like care and love have been invested rather than the owners losing interest in the 80s .

A real, old-school motel, but well maintained, spotlessly clean and a huge room. There's a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave and proper plates, mugs, glasses and cutlery - everything we needed for our after dinner coffee and cheesecake! The bed was very comfortable and the pool, although small, was nice to sit by for a while. It seemed to be full the night we stayed, so be warned! Would definitely recommend.
