THINGS TO KNOW

City of South Lake Tahoe Short Term Rental Ordinances Violation of ordinances can result in fines up to $1500:
a. The maximum occupancy of this property at all times, 24 hours a day, is  6 persons. Up to 2 children aged 13 and under do not count towards this occupancy limit.
b. Weddings, receptions, and commercial events are prohibited.
c. No use of outdoor spas or hot tubs is allowed after 10pm or before 8am.
d. No outdoor amplified music, speakers, or other noise-generating equipment is allowed after 10pm or before 8am.
e. Parking is prohibited on unpaved surfaces or on neighboring private property without permission. Parking is allowed only on paved surfaces.
f. Parking of commercial vehicles on the property is prohibited, except temporarily for durations of less than 4 hours.
g. Camping and sleeping in tents, travel trailers, campers, or recreational vehicles is prohibited at the property.
h. Trash and recycling shall not be left or stored outside except in a container (trash can) within a bear box or in an animal-resistant cart provided for use by South Tahoe Refuse.

Overall 5 considering new property. Pool table, Location and fireplace was amazing. However due to configuration of house of this style more blankets or a space heater are needed in the lower level bedrooms in winter. The 2nd floor has to get HOT before it heats bottom floor (heat rises). So I would verify with host more blankets were added. They also really need to have a light address sign hard to see at night. -They do have a Keurig and espresso machine bring your own cups. -They have a few sleds in garage for snow use-Switch under countertop ledge to turn on the stove top fan.-Located right on water with its own dockNot really sure why but they had recycling can locked up, would have been nice to use.
