This original Tahoe cabin is a wonderful place to begin your Lake Tahoe adventure! With five bedrooms this is the perfect place for family and friends. Located within 1 mile of Heavenly Ski Resort, walking distance to the beach, marina jet ski or boat rentals, and shopping. This location places you in the heart of South Lake Tahoe action and within a short walk of several Tahoe restaurants. A gas BBQ is available for your use on the deck outside.
You will appreciate the private hot tub after a day on the slopes or the beach! Complimentary Wi-Fi is available as is a land line with unlimited long distance- an extra bonus! VR Permit# 103464

Perfect for a friends ski trip to Tahoe!

This property was wonderful for my bachelor party with 10 friends. Super close to the base of Heavenly, and along main roads that got plowed even through 5+ feet of snow. The interior is spacious enough to where no one felt cramped, and has everything you need to have a great stay. Having a mudroom with ski storage and drying hooks was an added bonus to keep snow out of the house, and the hot tub in the back among the huge trees makes for a beautiful place to relax. The hosts were wonderfully helpful and made sure we made it safe and had everything we needed even through the blizzard.

Perfect for us

We had a group of 12 girls stay here and it was absolutely perfect. It’s not fancy but it’s really all you need. There was plenty of space and we loved the large living room, as it was big enough for everyone to hangout in. Location was perfect, we were able to ride scooters everywhere! Great place for a summer stay in Tahoe. Can’t beat the price and location!

Don’t recommend anyone to stay in this property. We had a trip booked and they cancelled 6 hours before our stay. Absolutely ridiculous. VRBO staff have also been unbelievably unhelpful.

The property was clean and as depicted. The location was great and we enjoyed our stay. We definitely had a few complaints though. As a house for 12 people, there was only one bar of soap in each bathroom. It would have been really nice to have soap in every room. There was also no dish soap, only dishwasher detergent. Finally, as a place with a hot tub and being near the beach, there were no extra towels or beach towels anywhere. The stay was good but there could be more attention to detail to make it more convenient for people coming from out of town.

Loved it

We had a total of 8 staying here and it was very comfy. It sleeps 12 and is pretty spacious. It’s a 5-10 min to Whole Foods and a couple of shopping centers. Very close to the lake and casinos. It was about a 6 min drive to the casinos and 20-25 min drive to zephyrs cove. I loved the location and it felt very homey. I would highly recommend and would plan on staying here again on my next visit to South Lake Tahoe.

The weekend getaway

The property matched the listing perfectly. It was well stocked with dishes and very clean and accessible to everything. The hot tub was clean and a major plus for the stay. We got a great rate being so close to the lake an look forward to possibly staying at this property again. It made our day trips to the lake smooth and fun. Great listing overall and I would recommend it to others.
