the room was not solid and quiet. We moved to another room because we could easily hear the footsteps of the guests above us. There were small roaches in our room. Not what we would ever want for anyone.

Family Friendly La Copa

La Copa Inn is an excellent beachside hotel on South Padre Island. The rooms are modern and have trendy, fun beach themes and the linens are fresh and appealing. Most rooms have either a balcony or a patio and I appreciate that amenity. Front desk personnel are friendly and helpful. There is a family friendly pool and a pool side cafe with lots of menus options. A free and hearty buffet style breakfast every morning is much appreciated.

We have been coming to this hotel every year and have enjoyed our stay the staff have always been great, the rooms are always clean the beach is just a few steps away. Best hotel to stay in South Padre!

the sheets had stains on them and sand in the bed. we were told they would change them for another day then when they did they didnt change the sheets on the pull out couch. toilet didnt flush very well and the shower didnt work well. the construction remodel was loud and smelled like Marijuana.

I like the huge clean renovated rooms with all amenities, like refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and nice wall hung television. The pier walkway leads you straight from the hotel, swim area to the beachfront. Nice! I will choose this stay again, always.

The stafff was very polite and helpful. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom sink leaked, and maintenance repaired it quickly.

We love the proximity to the beach, which has direct access from the pool area behind the hotel. I did not like that I had notified the hotel of our arrival time yet they would not let us check in a minute before 3 pm. In fact, at check-in time 3 pm the room was not ready.

Overall great stay. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was fresh, good options, and very good. Beds weren’t the most comfortable but not the worst. Only complaints would be the water pressure and noise. There was barely any pressure and took twice as long to take a shower and the noise was horrible, you could hear every step above you or in the hallway.
