Awesome stay!!!

It was an amazing stay. My family and I had so much fun at the island. It felt going back to the room knowing we would sleep in comfort. The breakfast was awesome as well. We will definitely return to this hotel.

02/2025. The staff were so polite and accomodating. The property was well maintained and clean. Our priorities were a dolphin cruise, beach walking, the Turtle Reserve, and the Bird Reserve. So this property was walking access to everything but the dolphins and Shell Beach. The breakfasts were about average with cold cereals, pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs and a hot breakfast meat. There was also a make-to-order omelet chef who made tasty omlets of your choice. The room however needed some help. The bathroom shower was rusty and the toilet tank leaked. The jetted tub had mold around the jets. And there was a noisy compressor of some sort that was near the window. However, all in all, a 3 star room with a 4 and 5 star surroundings. And yes, I'd recommend this!

This property has sewer problems. Strange hair on bathroom floor. Killed 4 bugs on floor of bathroom. No hand soap in room. Had to ask 3 times for some. Allowed 1 small bar. We did like the location of hotel plus big deck out back.

So for starters there was cockroaches in the room which I have pictures. The fridge did not work properly even as I adjusted the temperature. Several channels were not working to watch tv. And it got hot often. My stays here are usually top tier up until this last stay. My first choice always because of pet friendliness.

We LOVED this hotel! Can walk right onto the beach, great drink specials for happy hour. Staff was very friendly and kind. We did have a double room suite type that was two rooms with 2 queen beds and 1 King and it was so comfortable! Then we decided to stay an extra night but had to move rooms :( The next room with 2 queens and sleeper sofa was not NEARLY as comfortable in regards to sleeping We wish (and thought we were) had booked the same room without having to move but the front desk young lady made it streamlined and so easy. She kept us on the same floor

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were big ,the made to order breakfast was nice But the beds are old and lumpy ,the walls are thin and worst of all they turned off our room keys 2 hours before check-out ,and tried to blame us for both keys to stop working at the same time,,I'm sure this is management driven and not the front desk person's fault so in the future just apologize and fix it ! I will say seeing the sunrise on the beach was amazing ,next time I will view it from a different hotel

Older building that is kept up fairly good. Our tub however looked like it came out of a dumpster. All kinds of large adhesive stains all over it. Nice location and staff were responsive and polite.

Location and access to beach was wonderful. The property had many rooms under construction and often had construction products in hallways. Construction crews had to use the guest elevators. You can hear every noise from all rooms around, above or below you. We had loose tiles in our room and the main bed was quite worn out. The bathroom had space for shampoo, conditioner and body wash, however just the shampoo was stocked.

Not so grand anymore

Once upon a time this was a nice hotel. Right now it’s overdue for a renovation. Bathroom is antiquated. The cast iron tub from 1960 is rusting though. The toilet is so small and low that it belongs in an elementary school. Yet…the bed was OK and the tv was huge and modern. The hotel has an included hot breakfast in a converted meeting room on the 4th floor. The inlet station was nice, but the other foods, not so much. The wort thing was the acoustics in the room. If just 4 people were talking, the echoing was loud, almost intolerable. Sadly, I will not return to this hotel because of bugs. There were a couple of live critters around the mini fridge. That’s a deal breaker for us.
