The room was comfortable. Reception area was crowded, has terrible accoustics (noisy), and was severely understaffed for full holiday bookings. The one staff member was doing her best. The breakfast room was overcrowded and very little food was available because staff could not keep up with the guest flow.

All staff are friendly. My dog is big over 75lbs and no problem living inside the room. Room is clean and large good enough. Hotel is pet friendly too good. WiFi good and fast.

The internet was the best I have ever had at any hotel. The staff were very pleasant and quick to help if needed. The only point of concern was the breakfast. Great hours of operation but not enough staff to keep pace with the overwhelming amount of people who came through there. But most remained very pleasant. Overall it was a good week for relaxation for my daughter and myself. I'm very happy we went.

The staff were great. I was hoping to get some good rest on vacation, however, the fire alarms going off at all hours of the night during two of the three nights I stayed was a bit disappointing. Most likely won’t be back to Sand Rose.

I was 12 minutes early for checkin, the hotel denied the checkin. 4:00 pm a long line of guests checking in, after 30 minutes of wait, the room that we got was not even ready. The room keys were not working for any of the guests. The hotel is really old and beaten down, rooms are the same, rusted sink, though the shower was redone. The good thing is the beach access, but still the beach is crowded due to popular restaurant next to the hotel. Not staying here again.

Breakfast was good, but had the same things every other day. Had issues with our key card! When we went in the room our toilet would not flush,our balcony door would not open the door handle was (is) broke . The room was ok needs some updating! The fire alarm went of at 1 in the morning! Dont know why ,but woke everyone up couldn't go back to sleep! Other then that it is a nice facility!

The door card issue was unacceptable. In the 2 days I stayed I had to reset and get a new room card multiple times. Then they say it is working, you go all the way back to your room and it does not. The back and forth is extremely draining. Shower no pressure, old faucets and heads. I arrived at 3pm and was told check in is at 4. So I stepped outside to use the phone and wait, I noticed they just started checking people in as they came. They put a Dog across the hall from me that contained to bark and whine. When I addressed it with staff they said it’s Christmas and they can’t make anyone leave but it’s a pet friendly hotel Again. Super frustrating. They send me a message th sam day that free cancellation ends saying that the hotel is under maintenance and sorry for the noise and mess inconvenience. I turned 45 years old on Christmas Day and I just wanted to relax and de stress and this hotel is chaos. I would never stay here again. I actually stayed 2 extras days and nights on the island but in a different hotel. It was less expensive, way more clean, respectful and I will be staying here in the future. I wanted a refund and to go but literally everything was Booked on Christmas Eve and Day. Thy knew this and were not even apologetic or sympathetic.

I didn’t get to stay at the room I originally booked. I had to get whatever other room they offered because it was too late to book anywhere else. The manager didn’t show any interest in speaking with us after they had us waiting a hour in a half after the check in time. The front desk worker who helped us had told us there was a 20 minute wait because of cleaning. After the 1 hour and a half passed another employee notified us that the rooms AC was not working. We don’t know if those things were true or maybe they just gave the room to somebody else. Never staying here again.
