Nice Stay on The Cape

Place wasn’t fancy, but was nice, clean, comfortable, and very affordable for The Cape. Nice mid-Cape location. Staff was friendly. Free breakfast was a nice touch.

When we arrived- we found hair in my daughter’s bed and a dead bug in mine. The molding was missing in the bathroom and the sink leaked all over the floor. We had to put a towel around it to use it. The listing was VERY misleading. We left a day early- I don’t know who’s giving this place 10/10.

The phone to our room didn't have a wire to connect it to the wall - we had no way to reach the front desk. It was like it was a prop. The dead bolt was broken and hanging by 1 screw.

Heating system was very noisy and not working well. It would heat then go to cold and we were cold.My wife and I ended up getting colds for the New Year. We were not happy about our stay.

Great spot for a weekend getaway

The Ambassador Inn is located mid Cape and close to many towns. It's location makes day trips easy, and having two pools to relax beside helps you enjoy it that much more.

2 Day Stay

No elevator to 2nd Floor. Exterior stairs nearest to our room were steep and the treads much to small. They do not meet code. You may consider putting your senior guests on the first floor. The continental breakfast was terrible. Tossed it and went elsewhere.

We did very much enjoy this location and stay. But, there were a few things that could be improved. Please let the owner know that, for us older folks, having the toilet paper roll situated across on the opposite wall is not always appropriate. And, I do wish there was a way of reserving a first floor room ahead of time. We had to climb a full set of stairs with our 3 full suitcases. No elevator. We asked to swap for a first floor, but the rooms were all booked. The photos of the inside pool were a little deceptive. We thought it was longer. No one resupplied food to the morning breakfast. Some days there were sausages, other days there were not? The renovations made this place feel brand new. It was great, especially the fabulous mattresses. We would come again as long as we can get a first floor room.

We really loved staying at this inn. It was super clean and recently updated. The beds were so comfy, we slept well. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Good location with lots of options nearby. We will plan to stay here again in the future.

Very convenient location for our weekend away. Property manager was kind enough to give us a first floor room to accommodate my limited mobility. Comfortable bed. The room was very clean but the jacuzzi needed some repairs and cleaning.

I guess we stayed at a bad time. The hallways outside our door were being worked on, the phone to the desk didn’t work, the cable for the tv was messed up both nights so we couldn’t watch tv. Our room was fine. Beds very comfy, the shower was great & the bathroom & bedroom were clean.
