Enjoy your vacation in pampered style. This luxurious private home is ideal for families or several couples. This is a boater’s dream – with direct access to a private dock equipped with power and water right in the back yard. (Please review boat type/size prior to booking) No boat – no problem! There is PLENTY to enjoy. The home has incredible upgrades throughout. You enter into the stylish, fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances including a dual zone wine fridge. Fill up the two full-sized refrigerators with all of your goodies. The family can gather to dine in the kitchen or outside on the two-level deck. Prepare your dinners in the outside kitchen equipped with gas grill, sink and refrigerator. There are two downstairs bedrooms and a spa-like full bath. One bedroom sleeps 4 in the double bunk beds that the kids will love. The second bedroom has a queen bedroom. The dramatic living room has a floor to ceiling stone fireplace and a dramatic spiral staircase to the upper level. Ascend the spiral staircase to an open loft area. Here you will find the massive sunroom with soaring ceilings and water views everywhere you look. Enjoy a drink on the balcony at the end of the day as you watch the sun go down. Watch the activity on the river or watch TV on the massive television! This is sure to be where the family gathers to relax at the end of the day. There’s plenty of room for everyone! Also on the upper level is a full sized washer & dryer and an amazing master suite with a queen size bed, private balcony and a master bath that will take your breath away! The master bath features vaulted ceilings, skylights and a massive walk-in glas-doored shower with body jets and a rain shower. Now for the outside…exit the home onto a spacious two level deck. The lower level boasts the outdoor kitchen and a huge dining table. The upper level is for sun bathing and lounging. Just off the deck is a spacious outdoor shower! The lawn is lush and big enough for family fun & games. At the back of the yard is the private dock!! Enjoy our kayaks or paddleboard. The home is located just beyond the mouth of Parkers River - easy bridge-less access to Nantucket sound. The river has fairly light boat traffic, so it’s very easy to navigate and is ideal for kayaking and paddle boarding. If you enjoy relaxing on the beach, we are a 5 minute walk to a lovely ocean beach. You may find that you never want to leave!

Wonderful house and perfect for our needs

Loved this house! It was perfectly and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. Great communication with the hosts, who were very helpful and attentive. We especially enjoyed the outside area, the sunroom, and the nice master bed and bathroom. We watched fireworks fro the backyard on the Fourth of July, and just loved being there! Our kids enjoyed the bunkroom and the floor plan was great, with the master area upstairs.

Peaceful, beautiful house by the sea

This was one of, if not THE nicest vacation rental we ever stayed at. Firstly, and most importantly, the house was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The house has it's own dock, which proved priceless, as the beach - although wonderful and a 5-min. walk away, got kind of a lot of seaweed for the first couple of days of our stay. Having our own water access was just super! The kitchen is well planned out and generously equipped and stocked with any and all supplies, including containers for packing picknics and parchment paper for reheating restaurant leftovers without making mor mess than necessary. The beds are very comfortable. The Master Suite upstairs, not to mention the upstairs sunroom, is a jewel! We had breakfast on the deck with the beautiful water views almost every morning. Finally - the loacation could not be better for exploring the Cape to the North or South. The Hyannis Ferry to Martha's Vinyard is a short drive away. Skippers Chowder House is a short walk (on which you can see and hear the surf!) for the best sea food and ice cream. Thank you, wonderful, responsive hosts! Staying at your charming house made it a dream of a trip.

Great family vacation home

We had a such an enjoyable stay at Lynne & Brian’s home. The house was perfect for our family and we enjoyed spending time in the backyard and on the dock, fishing and using the kayaks/paddle board. The kitchen was well equipped with anything you would need to cook, the beds were comfortable, and the house was clean. We were able to walk to a small beach nearby, which was really nice. The neighborhood in which the house is situated was great for taking walks. Brian and Lynne were fantastic hosts!

Great house and location!

The house was just as expected- very clean and a great location! Everything you need to have a wonderful family vacation on Cape Cod was there! We are new to VRBO - this was our first time using the app so I wasn’t exactly sure how much or little we were supposed to communicate. The home owners were patient and helpful. Already planning to stay there again next summer!

Awesome stay

We were a family of 7, grandparents and 2 kids. Beach was walking distance. Having access to the kayak and paddle board on the dock made for some fun activities with the kids. Restaurants close by as well. Owners of the home were very responsive when we had a question. We want to go back next year! Highly recommend this stay.

Beautiful location, central to all the cape has to offer

We stayed here for the 4th of July week this year and it was an amazing time. We brought our little 17ft whaler and easily cruised in and out of the Parker river to the bass river. The kids loved the little backyard to play in while we grilled on the deck. The hosts were fantastic communicators and would definitely recommend to rent!

Fantastic House and Location!

We loved the house, yard, view and proximity to the Beach, great restaurants and entertainment! Everything was great. We are big cooks and kitchen was well stocked and wow the outdoor bbq kitchen and decks were amazing! Super clean! Great sun room and late bight movie watching too!! We hope to go back next year!!

Wonderful Week at the Cape

My husband and I have been staying on the Cape every summer for the past 25 years. This was by far the nicest house we've ever stayed in and the best location. The house was beautiful and spacious and spotlessly clean when we arrived. Communication with Brian and Lynne was easy and they were very responsive to our questions. Our favorite spots in the house were the back deck where we ate almost all our meals, the dock overlooking the water where we watched gorgeous sunsets, and the upstairs sunroom with delightful breezes and lovely views on three sides. My personal favorite spot was the spa bathroom in the master bedroom! The house is in a very quiet, friendly neighborhood and just a short walk to a nice public beach. We made use of the outdoor grill, the kayaks, and the paddleboard. We had absolutely no complaints. It was a perfect week!

Exactly what a Cape Cod Vacay should be!

I have rented in the South Yarmouth ever since I was little. This rental was my favorite so far! My family of 5 loved having the access to the dock! We brought our paddle boards and enjoyed paddling around the inlet and out to the sound. The neighborhood was amazing! My youngest son learned how to ride his bike with lout training wheels while we were down there and my older two enjoyed having the freedom to ride around the neighborhood. An easy walk to a public beach too! The house itself was perfect, room for everyone to have their own space and stocked with everything we needed. The sunsets were an awesome bonus. Thanks to Brian and Lynne for an awesome rental!

What a wonderful get away!

We visit South Yarmouth every year. After the property we normally stay at was sold we went looking for a new one and we found an amazing space. The house was lovely, ease of use fantastic, well equipped and simply wonderful. Communication with owners was exceptional. Beautiful setting, great hosts

We had a great time at this beautiful house. The setting is terrific, near the mouth of Parker’s River with a nice view across the salt marsh, great for sunsets and wildlife watching from the comfort of the back deck. The kids spent hours kayaking and paddleboarding. The upstairs sunroom is breezy and bright, a great place for our families to gather for games and movies. We like to cook and found both the kitchen and the outdoor grill area (with its own sink and fridge!) very well appointed. Brian and Lynne are excellent, thoughtful, responsive hosts. Highly recommended.

Relaxing break from the world!

Our family chose the Bass River home based on the photos, and boy did we pick correctly! The home was perfectly positioned on the water down a quiet street. The back yard was perfect for relaxing, with comfortable seating and a beautiful view. We were greeted outside by rabbits each day- my girls were over the moon! The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Out favorite room was the upstairs family room; we could gather as a family each night and watch tv and movies together, just like home. Anyone familiar with the Cape will know how centrally located this home is. It’s right near great family fun (like Pirates Cove putt putt!), the best clam chowder on the Cape (Captain Parker’s), both Stop and Shop and Shaw’s grocery stores, and a short drive away from downtown Chatham (my wife and daughter’s favorite place to shop). Those looking for a day trip will find that the Hyannis ferry to Nantucket is conveniently nearby- something we made sure to do while we were there. We loved staying in this home for the week, and kindly thank the owners for being so communicative and welcoming!

Relaxing Stay!

The house and property are wonderful! The house is comfortable, plenty of space for family members to spread out, with a nice comfy, homey vibe. Kitchen is great for cooking, fully stocked and with high-end appliances. Beds are comfortable. Outdoor space is amazing. Wonderful views of the river and marsh, with sunsets being a real treasure. Backyard is perfect for playing yard games, with easy access to water for kayaking and paddle boarding. Brian was super responsive. He made sure we had everything we might need in light of bad weather hitting the area. They thought of all the little things, from a welcome basket to greet you upon your entrance to batteries for flashlights in case of loss of power during the storm. Outstanding vacation home!

Beautiful Property and Location

The home is clean, well maintained and our family of 6 adults and a toddler settled in easily. Plenty of storage. A/C works well. Sun room is bright, relaxing and great for morning coffee. The owners have thought of many extras so check out the cabinets in case you forgot something.

Fantastic VRBO Experience

As this was our first VRBO rental, we were a little apprehensive about the experience. However, Brian and Lynne made everything super easy, from getting into the house to stocking it with everything we might need to enjoy our week. The home is beautiful (even more so in person than in the photos) and the location is outstanding. If you have a boat, the dock is well maintained and getting in and out to the Sound is very easy at all tides. Backyard was just perfect for sports and games and the back entertaining / cooking area is well laid out and comfortable. Easy walk to the beach and nice quiet neighborhood for biking with the kids. All in all, one of our most relaxing and memorable vacations and I can't recommend the property enough!

Perfect Cape vacation spot

The property was very accurately described and had all the promised amenities. The location was great; very private but close enough to whatever was needed. Having three generations there was great as teens could do all the water sports and get to the beach on whim. Shopping and restaurants were near by. We'd repeat in a heart-beat. The owners were very responsive.

Loving vacation this year

We had a wonderful time for our first trip to the Cape in a long time. The property had everything and then some. We spent alot of time on the back deck and loved that we were able to bring our boat with us. Would highly recommend ! Owners were very responsive to any questions we had as well!!! A+ all around

This property is perfectly located for a family trip. It’s a 5 minute walk to a small beach that isn’t very crowded and the dock and backyard are also wonderful. The house has plenty of room for many visitors. There were only 4 adults and 2 children (2 month old and 2 year old) with us and we definitely could’ve had another family join the group. The master suite has a massive closet that actually served as a nice little nook for our baby’s bassinet- our two year old was at our bedside so we needed a little separation so they would both sleep and it worked out perfectly. The only issue if you have small children is the spiral staircase- we brought baby gates but they didn’t fit the openings so we used other items to block off the stairs. The bonus room upstairs is also great. The owners were very communicative and the property itself is fully equipped- they really did think of everything. It was a fantastic quarantine style vacation at this home! Highly recommend!

Perfect week for a small group getaway!

The property was more than we could have asked for. We spent the week hanging in the yard enjoying lawn games and the dock. The beach is only a few steps away, but the property itself is so convenient you really don’t need to leave!

We can't wait to return!

Our family (2 adults, 4 teens and 2 Grandparents) have been renting houses on the Cape for years and years. This property was by far the most well-equipped home we have ever stayed at. Even pre-COVID, our family tends to eat in, bbq, etc. Most homes were not equipped for this. This property is the exception. The home itself was beautiful and clean with wonderful views of the water. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding from the dock in the backyard. The upstairs living room was big enough to fit all of us to play a game or watch a movie on a day that we didn't have the best weather. Very short walk to the ocean/beach. Just perfection!
