We stayed overnight the day before our wedding and on our wedding night at this charming facility. The staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We had friends and family who stayed over at the Royal Swan and enjoyed breakfast with us before heading back home. The staff were efficient friendly and effective in providing a 1st class service during our stay. We would highly recommend this facility to anywhere needing accommodation in the area.

Friendly, efficient staff . Clean well stocked bathroom,plenty of hot water . Disabled parking available ,close to the entrance. We didn't eat as visiting family ,but good selection of food available.

The B&B was lovely, and the staff went out of their way to welcome us. I would definitely return. We opted out of the full breakfast, but it seemed very nice. We were only staying one night, before a cruise, so we hadn't rented a car. The Royal Swan has plenty of parking, but without a car, dining options are limited. 2 very nice places are walkable in the daytime, but at night, we took an Uber. On our way to the cruise port, we saw many dining options nearby, but you need a car.

The staff was remarkable. They were always asking if they could do something for us. The only bad thing to say is instant coffee in the morning. They provided us a very pleasant stay. I would recommend this B&B to everyone

People make the difference

Outstanding reception by staff upon ( scheduled late - 10pm) arrival - nothing hurried or too much trouble. Clean room. Very comfortable bed. No traffic noise. Excellent shower with plentiful soapy luxuries. Average cooked breakfast (cheap sausages). Safe ample off road parking. Needs a prominent, clearly named roadside sign as I missed it first time in the dark and pouring rain.

Excellent B & B

Charming B & B which is excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and attentive and make every effort to ensure you have a great stay. The room is clean and very comfortable and there is plenty of parking. I'm looking forward to staying again very soon.

Staff are very welcoming and will help as much as they can, to make sure your stay is good, the rooms are clean and fresh, the bar and dining areas are clean, and the pool table is a great added extra to this B&B. Like most old buildings there is always something that needs doing, if you look for it, but overall the property is in good character. We stayed for 1 night for a business trip, but would stay for more nights as the feeling of the place is very good, and this is down to the staff, Peter is a excellent host and will do his best to make your stay as comfortable as possible, and Michael is very pleasant and will help you just as much, we can not comment on all the staff as we only meet 1 more staff member that served our breakfast (sorry cant remember her name) but was very pleasent and helped when needed.

Such a cute place to stay for a quick getaway! Staff very attentive and friendly. Only the mattress being a bit stiff,( we just put a blanket under to soften) and all good.
