Upgraded to better room coz of vip status, really appreciated being on the top floor away from other hotel guest. The furnishing and vibe is very relaxing and classy, would definitely stay here again. Staff was friendly and accommodating to our late check out. Perfect stay for New Yearā€™s Eve.

We had a great stay at the Shoals! The rooms were sparkling clean and the beds were super comfortable. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful with dining recommendations. We will definitely return.

It was great - although the communication was confusing because we got an email saying there would be no breakfast but there was. Also we ended to request cookware but the staff couldnā€™t open the house keeping area to get it.

The property is beautifulā€¦ views are incredible and the accommodations were excellentā€¦shopping, dining, wineries just minutes away in either directionā€¦the only downside are the thin walls. You can hear your neighbors fairly clearlyā€¦.

The website exaggerated but was convenient

Unique locationin a boat yard- The description as rooms with great views was a pure marketing item on their web site- my view was of the highway and the painted steel wall behind the building however if you went out in the balcony you could see the water which was pretty. The place is newish but needs someone to pay attention to fixing little things - eg- there was a large stain on the carpet -when I pointed this out they moved us next day to a beautiful suite and waived the amenity fee(amenities?) to make nice - was greatly appreciated - in the huge suite , the ceiling light in the master br did not function but wall sconces were adequate to light room- - the front desk staff was Very responsive but if I had to pay season rates I would have looked elsewhere. It was conveniently located as the place I was going was a mile away which is a location advantage.1

The Shoals is really such a cute place. The rooms are spacious and very clean. My sisters and I stayed here for the second time in November. Last time I stayed during the week and it was very quiet. However this time we had someone staying next to us and you can hear the TV like itā€™s in your room as it is up against your bed wall and just someone walking was loud. Thankfully they didnā€™t keep the TV on all night. When you arrive at the Shoals there is someone at the front desk but they leave by 8pm. Breakfast is included and it is a continental style with coffee muffins yogurt etc. The breakfast room has a beautiful view for sure. I am very surprised how thin the walls were it may make think about staying on a weekend or busy summer night for sure. Also there is not that much interaction with anyone who works there. Some primary like more staff assistance if that is your thing. The location is great as it is right near wineries, restaurants and other great things to do depending on the weather.
