Southport Waterfront

Be part of a unique small town. Live oaks, historic homes, shopping, restaurants, all contribute to the uniqueness of Southport NC. But what really sets it apart is that all roads seem to lead to water and that's where you will be. Fireworks on the 4th, Stede Bonnet Regatta,and the U.S. King mackerel Open, are examples of what can be viewed from the deck.

One king size bed with private bathroom, another bedroom with two single beds with private bathroom, provide sleeping for four. Fully equipped kitchen, separate dining area, and open floor plan lead to living easy.

Cook dinner and watch the boats go by from the deck or take a short 30 second walk to the marina. Several great restaurants can be found via a beautiful 3 or 4 minute walk down the waterway. These include the Yacht Basin Provision Company as well as Fishy Fishy Café – Restaurant & Bar. Both of these restaurants have great seafood and you dine right on the dock with the water just below. For a cocktail, head to the end of the dock and the Old American Fish Company which occasionally has live misuc and watch the boaters watching you. All of these places are less than five minutes walk from the condo.

The PORCH!We spent so much time just sitting on the porch, watching the boats come and go—it was incredibly relaxing. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and being right on the waterfront made the experience even more special. An added bonus were the binoculars on the table, which let us get an even better view of the boats and marina.We also loved that you can still enjoy those views from inside, especially from the kitchen and living room.The condo, the views, and the town were all perfect. We will definitely be back—and hopefully able to book this same condo again! Thank you, Robert and Kathleen, for sharing such a wonderful space with us.

This is the 4th time we’ve stayed at this condo, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The marina was especially busy which was fun to watch. Can’t think of anything to say that I haven’t said in the past, but the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common area are always clean and well-stocked. The elevator is especially nice, as is the sitting area beside the entry. I spent many hours reading on that side as the water front side is usually somewhat windy. Thanks again, Butch. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

We’re in Southport a few times each year and this place has it all. The view is awesome and you are in walking distance to waterfront restaurants and shops.Everything was very clean and the owner made it very easy to check in and out. We’ll definitely be back.

Everything about Butch’s place is excellent! We have enjoyed several stays and it’s so clean and comfortable that we settle in quickly even if a short stay. Everything about Butch’s Unit is outstanding. We have stayed multiple times and feel it is our Southport home away from home. The Unit is immaculate, thanks to his outstanding housekeeper, and everything is in perfect condition. There have been recent updates to the inside and outside of the Condo complex, which added to the excellence. Location is an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. Views are so relaxing, and the rocking chairs are perfect. Hope to be back for a longer stay this winter.
