This fully air-conditioned 2 bedroom, 2 bath located in the center of Spanish Wells, Bahamas. Features an open concept kitchen and living area. Private deck area perfect for vacationers who enjoy relaxing outdoors. Each bedroom includes 1 king-sized bed and private bath to accommodate couples or families looking for an island escape. The living area also features one queen size couch/bed to aid in sleeping children. A simple 3 minute walk carries you to Spanish Wells' famous 2 mile white sandy beach and crystal clear water! It’s located just a few minutes' walk from everything in town but don’t worry when you book with us a golf cart comes with the house. Spanish Wells is a small unique island located at the northern tip of Eleuthera, less than 50 miles away from the country's capital, Nassau. This fishing-centered community offers many restaurants and stores, a park/playground. We have gorgeous sunrise & sunset and a gazebo on the east and west of the Island so you can watch the sun rise and set each day. This vacation rental includes a 4 seater golf cart, Kayak, paddle board, to ensure each day is a new adventure. If you decide to stay with us you could give me your flight plans and I could arrange a taxi to wait for you when you arrive and I will be on the dock to pick you up and if you like I will give you a tour of are beautiful Island and drop you of to your home away from home. And if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask I’m willing to do whatever I can to make your stay here more enjoyable. The non-stop airlines flights include Silver Airways & United from Ft. Lauderdale (FLL), American Eagle from Miami(MIA) and Delta from Atlanta, GA, non-stop flights to North Eleuthera (ELH). The preferred transportation of choice is a golf cart. No need for a car! There are top notch charter companies to enhance your vacation experience.

Lovely home with lots of room and a fabulous front deck where we sat almost every day, watching the world go by. The rooftop deck was also a favoured spot to enjoy peekaboo views of the ocean and the cross breezes. Located on the Main Street, it’s a 1-2 minute walk to the most beautiful beach. It’s also within minutes of the main grocery store, a local bakery, as well as restaurants and liquor stores. Sharon was a very gracious host, meeting us at the dock when we arrived and dropping off gifts from her garden throughout our stay. She was very quick to get back to me when I had questions and went out of her way to find me a softer pillow when the ones at the rental weren’t quite right (I’m super picky). She also found me a blender when I needed one to make my breakfast smoothies. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was super convenient, as we only brought carry-on bags for our one month stay. .

Sharon is an awesome host. She arranged for David to meet us at, and take us back to the airport. She also connected us with a car rental on the day we visited Eleuthera.Island Breeze was centrally located and is very nicely furnished and updated. We certainly got a lot of use of the golf cart too!

Fantastic property, location and support

I highly recommend you rent this property for you next stay in Spanish Wells. Sharon, the owner, was extremely supportive. She arranged all the inter-island transfers from North Eleuthera airport to Spanish Wells. She met us at the dock, gave us a tour of the island then dropped us off at the property after another personal tour. The properly was spotless and very relaxing. We really enjoyed the private sitting area on the roof!! The property location is in the middle of everything and the golf cart was one of the fastest in town!

Outstanding Experience

The island is a perfect getaway. It’s a tiny town tucked between emerald water and white beaches and everyone treats you like family from day 1. The house was lovely, had everything we needed, and is in the perfect location. Everything is walkable or cartable and the beach is right there. Sharon is the best. We didn’t know what we were doing as we had never been there before, but she got us set up with a ride and picked us up at the boat. She drove us around, got us settled, and drove us back to the boat when we were headed out at the end. Despite the fact that we spent probably 10 minutes together in a car all said and done, I feel like I could invite her to my kids’ birthday parties. That’s how the whole island is- instant family.Best stay we’ve had in years!

Absolutely perfect!

Island Breeze apartment is exactly as described. We all agreed we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else if/when we go back again. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed and then some. With just a two minute walk to the beach, the location was ideal. Sharon was the perfect host. If we had any questions, she was very quick to respond. From pick up to drop off, Sharon did both, our stay could not have been any better. We loved our stay at Island Breeze! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our first visit to Spanish Wells!! Spacious and centrally located. Not oceanfront but *right* around the corner from a beautiful beach area (very short walk). The included golf cart, snorkel gear, kayaks, and rooftop deck made this place worth its value tenfold!! Sharon even picked us up from the ferry and gave us a tour upon arrival. And was only ever a quick text away for information. I mean it when I say couldn’t ask for more! :)

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

We have stayed at several VRBO properties all over the Caribbean, Not only did this property meet our expectations. It exceeded all of them. Sharon and her husband Will are absolutely amazing people. I contacted Sharon several months (11) before we booked with her. The first time I contacted her, she responded in under five minutes, and she answered every question within minutes. And I asked a lot of questions, because we had never been to the Bahamas. Even after we booked her response time was within minutes of sending a message and getting a reply from her. She happily walked me through every process. Including flights, taxis, boat to the island and excursions. She made everything so easy for us that we had nothing to worry about. I would highly recommend her property for your stay. The location of her property is so close to the beach, food fair (grocery store) three liquor stores, a little corner store. Are all a few seconds away by way of the complementary golf cart. Restaurants are very close, actually everything is so close. The rental was very clean and well equipped with everything you will need for an amazing stay. The WIFI and TV were always good. The rooftop terrace is a nice place to relax and tan if it’s windy out, or even to have a drink, and look at the stars in the evening. Sharon and her husband feel like family, not like a landlord. I cannot say enough good things about this Rental. It has it all. Well done Sharon and Will. ❤️

Best location to the beach and shops with a golf cart

Property was just as described. It was a huge help to have the larger size washer and dryer, plenty of beach chairs and towels. We looked at all the beaches on Spanish wells and all agreed the one near the place was the best. You could easily walk there or take the golf cart if you needed to. The owner was great on arranging pick up and drop off for the airport/water taxi. She even dropped off fresh bananas for us from her banana tree. For those not familiar with Spanish wells…. Make sure to bring lots of cash and/or have Zelle/venmo ready. Also it’s very casual and booking a boat ride is a must.

Convenient and Clean!

Island Breeze is conveniently located close to everything - the beach, the restaurants, bars and grocery store. We had everything we needed and most importantly, our place was clean! Sharon was so helpful acquainting us to the island and answering any questions we had in a timely fashion. I did miss having more windows but everywhere we went made up for that. We really did not want to leave!

Spectacular Spanish wells

I am so happy we chose Sharon’s vrbo to rent, the place is exactly as advertised. Clean, nicely decorated and appointed, in a central location with lots of amenities and Sharon (and Sherrie) were so lovely and kind. The beds, pillows and linens we’re comfortable, the living room furniture inviting for a rest after a long day at the beach, the kitchen was well stocked and had every thing we needed for cooking a few meals. The upper patio was just perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails! As a first time vrbo renter I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Sharon had lots of information to share and helped make our time on Spanish wells amazing. Thank you Sharon!

Rest, relax and breathe

If you are looking for perfect weather and gorgeous beach Spanish Wells is it! The cottage is a 3 min walk to the sand bars, super clean, all new and modern. This cottage is not the best for small children, it’s very close to the road and hot concrete. The upstairs patio is very nice but no door from there. The cottage has very few windows which makes it dark inside and NO second exit door. The ac and fans were refreshing, washer and dryer were handy for our long stay. The owners/ family were wonderful to work with and so helpful. The golf cart, bikes and kayaks were a bonus and whenever we called with a minor- no rush request, they were there right away. Restaurants and groceries stores are all near by. Do not expect a lot of shops to browse, crowds or activities. It’s a wonderful place to disappear in a quiet retreat.
