The Cottage is located 60
Meters from state highway 1 so very easy access .

Cheviot Towship is only 7 km away, There you will find everything you need. Amazing Four Square for all your fresh food & supplies. Great Cafes, Bakery & Butchers. Cheviot Trust Hotel provides fabulous Meals and a big screen TV to watch those important Sporting Events!
Kaikoura is a short picturesque drive of 45mins and Christchurch only 90mins. Hamner Springs just over 60mins drive.

For the Fishing enthusiast there are many fabulous rivers and beaches to choose from , and only a short drive away. Hurunui River Mouth, Waiau River, Conway & Motunau are ideal recreational spots. August is the start of the Salmon season! Get your fishing mates together & explore the area!
There's also many beautiful walks & places to explore.
We are pet friendly accommodating, but pre approval & conditions apply, so please contact me prior to booking to discuss further.
The Cottage is fully fenced, but not completely Doggie escape proof.
Dogs must be ok with neighbouring livestock ect & cats.

What an amazing stay, the house is lovely and has everything you need. It’s like a doll house, amazingly maintained and so clean.20 minutes drive from Gore Bay which is a wonderful little beach town, and about an hour from Kaikoura.Communication with Lesley was easy and clear. The cottage is full of charm, plenty of family games and a beautiful garden surrounding this home. Cattle in the fields, birds chirping in the peach tree.Close by is St Anne lagoon a fun walk, cliffs of gore bay. The home is well equipped and plenty of helpful literature on surrounding areas. Our host was very friendly and easy to understand.Everything in the cottage was well organized.

The cottage is simply delightful. We had chosen it for our 'let's take the dogs' break. The cottage was bright and airy, and spotlessly clean. Perfect sleeping room for the dogs in the laundry. Just 10 minutes from Cheviot, and close to beaches and lovely walks. Lesley our host was lovely to deal with, nothing too much trouble. FABULOUS!

Absolutely gorgeous setting and views. Lovely clean and comfortable cottage with extremely well equipped kitchen. Fantastic communication with host. It is close to train tracks, my son loved seeing the trains whizz by but can be loud at night. Less than 10 mins to Cheviot town centre and there were cows in the paddock beside us which was lovely rural experience. However no wifi or Netflix etc, standard tv and dvds provided. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!
