The name translates from Gaelic as The Forge, a meaningful reference to the architect owners who created the home through their practice, Forge Design Studio. Their influence is clear throughout, with thoughtful design, quality materials, and careful attention to detail at every turn.

Set in a peaceful pocket of countryside just outside Balmullo, the house offers privacy, space, and far reaching views across the Fife landscape. With private parking and a tranquil rural setting, it feels wonderfully removed from the everyday while remaining well placed for exploring the surrounding area. The property accommodates up to ten guests in line with its licence.

Living Space and Bedrooms

The home has been designed with comfort and flexibility in mind, with natural light and open views shaping the layout. The open plan living space sits at the heart of the house, centred around a wood burning stove that brings warmth and character. Corner windows and carefully positioned glazing frame the countryside beyond and flood the space with daylight.

There are four bedrooms in total. Two of the larger rooms feature zip-and-link super king beds, which can be used either as a super king for couples or separated into two singles. The third bedroom has a king bed, while the bunk room includes a double bed with a single above and a trundle below, making it particularly suitable for children. Three bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with walk in showers. The principal bedroom includes a bath within the room, and there is also a family bathroom with a bath upstairs.
