Wonderful location, rug needs replacing

I enjoyed most everything about this apartment - it has great light and although it’s a steep walk up I never mind the exercise. The furnishing and kitchen are modern. Bathroom is basic but fine. The rug, however, was dirty and I didn’t feel comfortable walking on it in bare feet. It was stained in multiple places and just looked worn and not washed ever. It grossed me out. Otherwise this place was great but that reduced the value to me - I expected more for the cost. I highly recommend replacing the wall to wall rug in hall and bedrooms with the same flooring that’s in the kitchen.
