Potential to be a great hotel...good location, great breakfast, nice pool area, personable staff, remodeled rooms with excellent bathroom lighting and quality towels. Negatives include room floor very dirty, very poor lighting in main room, no light or power outlet(s) at desk, barn door to bathroom does not close completely, shower/tub faucet not secured well to wall, toilet a bit loose from wall, not enough hooks for hanging towels, privacy door hangers fall to ground with just a little wind, and a hallway spill outside our door running almost all the way to reception was never cleaned up during our 2-night stay.

Clean, friendly.

Nice clean place. Bed was just ok, but not nearly as comfortable as we expected. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing special. Reasonable walking distance fro beach and lots of dining options. Had to pay to park. Apparently the norm in this area.

Overall ok, good value for the money, room needs more lighting also the floor in the room, I wouldn’t call it dirty but it seemed damp . Didn’t bother me too much . . Excellent service from the ladies that checked us in and out, friendly . Also the lady who worked the breakfast room , nice , always said hello , had a smile on her face . Property looks nice love the landscaping. Beach right across the street short walk. Beautiful beach lots of sand long distance from the buildings on beach to the coastline.

I was surprised at sign in that there is a separate fee for parking. That did not come up during the booking process with Expedia. Maybe its in the fine print somewhere - just be aware that they charge $10/day for parking.

Room was clean upon arrival but never cleaned after that. Room was a bit small but renovated. Beds were good. Pool was ok. Hot tub not hot first day but hot next day. Breakfast was ok. Free & some variety. Parking was a bit tight. Extra parking charge was crazy. Beach was across the street & down short road. A few small places to get food. Closest Publix was closed. Short drive town.

Good location, but poor room design

The main problem I had with the room was the poor lighting. There was only one nightstand lamp and one corner lamp in the bedroom. The desk was great - but had no lighting and no outlets within about 4-5 feet, a bad design. I had to buy an extension cord and small lamp to use the desk. Also a number of other issues here: no lid on the toilet; very low water pressure in the shower; a non-working refrigerator (which the manager replaced with a new one quickly). The bed was comfortable and the location was good, but the room definitely needed updating.

Front desk was a bit rude. The toilet in our room would not flush only to be told the best he could do was plunge it. No tourist information or any helpful information about the area was given at check in. Room was very clean! Pool and hot tub were enjoyable.
