A few homes back from the sand in St. Augustine Beach, Island Charm is a single-story house with a fenced backyard, a one-car garage holding beach chairs and boards, and a paved patio set up with a picnic table and umbrella. Having a whole house to yourselves, rather than a unit in a shared building, is the real draw here, and the short walk to the pier seals it.

Inside, the remodeled floor plan opens up so the kitchen, dining, and living areas share one bright, breezy space. Floors are light, walls are white, and the accents lean coastal blue. The living room has a comfortable sofa, extra seating, a television, and a ceiling fan for cooling off after a morning in the surf.

Sleeping arrangements work for six. The primary bedroom has a king bed, its own television, and sliding doors to the backyard. The second bedroom holds a queen, a television, and a dresser. A sofa bed in the living room covers the extra two. Two full bathrooms mean nobody waits long before dinner or a night out, and at 971 square feet across one level the house feels open without being cavernous.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking in, with a full-size refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and all the cookware, dishes, and utensils you need. A washer and dryer handle sandy towels and swimsuits, and the home comes with Wi-Fi, central air and heat, linens, towels, an iron, and cable television. Pets are welcome for an additional pet fee, and the fenced yard gives a dog room to roam.

St. Augustine Beach puts you minutes from the ocean and a quick drive from the old city. Spend mornings on the sand, then head to Pier Park for fishing, beach volleyball, the splash park, or the weekly farmers market. Historic downtown, with its fort, ghost tours, galleries, and St. George Street shops, is close enough for an easy afternoon.

Great week-long beach rental!

We needed a place to stay somewhat last minute and Marty accommodated our request and communicated with us in a timely manner! It is an easy walk to the beach, close to a variety of restaurants and in a cute neighborhood! The house was clean and is a great set up. We really enjoyed our stay!

We love this very nice, nautical beach home with a wonderful location in St. Augustine Beach. The home is very cozy, clean with a well-stocked kitchen and adorable nautical theme decor. It is short walk to multiple good restaurants and cute shops, and steps to the beach.

Super location, less than 2 blocks from the beach. Surrounded by restaurants, with a great Mexican restaurant right across the street. Clean and stocked with necessary vacay items. Great for our pups with fenced in yard. Only suggestion is to cut the grass in backyard. Would definitely stay again.

Adorable beach home in a great location

We enjoyed our stay in this well-maintained, adorable beach home in a fabulous location in St. Augustine Beach. The home was very neat with a cute beach decor and well-stocked kitchen. The beach access was an easy one block walk to a beautiful wide beach. Wonderful restaurants were in walking distance of the home as well as a mini-golf course. We highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

First ever Family House Rental.

Great home away from home!

Perfect location!

This was a super cute house! Location was primo! We love the neighborhood. It wasn’t super clean but acceptable. Also not well stocked; no extra towels, couldn’t find sheets for the sleeper couch and no games for rainy days. Would however stay there again for sure!!!

cute home in good location close to beach and eateries. Needs a little tlc. Had some housekeeping issues but mgmt company very responsive. There is a dog behind but mostly controlled. Kitchen needs update. But overall good for a quick beach vacation.

Overall a good experience. We had a couple issues (the master bathroom toilet doesn’t flush properly and the oven temperature didn’t seem to be correct). Otherwise, the house was very clean and the location was excellent.

Delightful house, great location (and pet-friendly, too!)

What a fantastic house! My husband, son, and I (and our 2 dogs) had a wonderful time here. The house is clean and comfortable, and the fenced back yard is a *huge* bonus when traveling with dogs. There were plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked with non-food supplies. The host was easy to work with and responsive. The location can't be beat - a delicious Mexican restaurant is literally across the street, several other restaurants within easy walking distance, and I was *thrilled* to be able to walk to Zaba's each morning for coffee. The beach is just over a block away - an easy and safe walk with the dogs.

Cozy and clean

Very clean! Great location. Good communication. Nicely updated bungalow. Comfortable. Great beds. We liked that it had everything we needed without being overly cluttered, as some can be. If I had any complaint, it would be washer and dryer (in serious need of replacement- opted not to use them except as required for towels at check out). Can't emphasize enough how clean and cozy it was!

The property was decent enough. It was clean but could use some overall cosmetics done outside. The beds were comfortable and the house size just right for three adults. We noticed the plumbing had some issues and had to use plunger in each bathroom but resolved easily. This was a concern for us. We also would have appreciated nicer outdoor furniture to enjoy the outdoor space better. The fenced yard was great for our small pet. The location is great with lots of good restaurants nearby as well as the beach and pier park.

I was concerned that the Mexican restaurant across the street would be loud with cars all over the place, but it was quiet and we did not hear anything! The house was everything it said it would be. The ceiling are vaulted and there is a sky light in the main bathroom. What a beautiful surprise! The beds we very comfortable and the pull out couch was new. It did rain while we were there and the house had puzzles for the kids to put together and plenty of books for the adults.

Perfect Beach House

We had a wonderful stay at this property for Thanksgiving break with my family. The home is just a short 5 minute walk from the beautiful St. Augustine Beach, just cross A1A and there you are! The property itself is located in a very quiet neighborhood. The home offers a fully equipped kitchen, very clean interior and well groomed exterior. The king size bed was heavenly, the linens were so soft. The garage had handy cleaning supplies for any accidents or messes. We were only 15 minutes by car to St. Augustine center, super convenient location. There was also plenty of shopping within a 5 minute drive (Publix, Dollar Tree, restaurants, banks). Thank you for having us! We'll definitely be back, Stephanie.
