Lots of great reviews.. don't understand it, Shuttle to old town around $11, parking in the middle of nowhere,,, $20 Old school motel that looks like every old school hotel. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage links oj, coffee, toast, pancakes , bagels. Just like all hotels in its price range and maybe not even done as well as many I've been too. .. Its the ok motel really ...That's it.

I found the staff to be excellent and rooms are clean. Great location. I wish they would offer the shuttle to the amphitheater for shows. I feel they s would be a great draw for me to stay more regularly.

Clean and comfy

So glad we found this place! After a not great experience with an Airbnb, we were able to book into this motel. Immaculate with outstanding service. In a great location far enough away from downtown but close enough to drive in. They have a shuttle bus that will take you to downtown for a small fee. There is also a hop on hop off type business right across the road. This will be our go to place but we got to Saint Augustine from now on.

Historic St Augustine

Great location for visiting Saint Augustine. Very helpful staff, and the hotel runs a shuttle (the hop on hop off trolley also offers shuttle service to their location). Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was standard, and we had vouchers for free drinks. Lots of parking. There is no elevator to the second floor.

Me and my gf stayed here for our recent trip to st Augustine. We stayed at the Flagler inn right across the street last year but did not have a quality experience in regards to staff and facility. However, at the southern oaks inn, the staff was friendly, informative, clean room, had a shuttle for downtown and beach transportation, clean pool and service was great. We decided next year when we come back to visit that we will be staying here again as it was a convenient drive, parking was accessible and overall our stay was great!

The hotel I stayed at was pretty average. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly, which was a nice start. The room was clean, but it felt a bit outdated. The bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep, but the pillows could have been better. One downside was the Wi-Fi; it was pretty slow, making it difficult to stream anything. The location was decent, close to some local attractions and restaurants, which was convenient. The breakfast offered a limited selection, but it was satisfactory to start the day. Overall, it was a decent place to stay if you're looking for something budget-friendly without any frills. It met my basic needs, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay there again.
