Pet friendly but don’t pay for the pet friendly room on this app. You will have to pay again at the hotel. You will also have to pay for parking upon arrival so don’t add on the app either. The pool is great but breakfast is below standard and the bed is very hard.

The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and professional, and the pool is fabulous. The downside breakfast is less than desirable the same thing everyday, no fresh fruit and coffee runs out before breakfast is over. The bed is pretty hard and I prefer a softer bed.

Tourist trap

They charge xtra to park at the parking for the hotel. There lounge and bar is the hotel lobby. There free drinks r for those 2$ shots from the package store. I stayed a week was never told hello or good morning by staff once. Also there breakfast had no fruit but one day. Their selection was the same every day and even when arriving at 702 food was already cold. Moved to a different hotel in the same area. Very pretty on the outside tho…. Tourist trap!!

We had a wonderful stay at Southern Oaks Inn. The pool was the perfect place to cool off after busy days visiting family. We found it was very easy to get to the beach or explore the downtown area by car. Our room had a lot of space and was very clean.

The room was so noisey due to the dehumidifier that my wife and I barely slept all night. I complained at the front desk and was told it was Florida law to have it and it could not be turned off. They offered to move us to another room but what was the point in that. Every room has the dehumidifier. They offered to try and find us a room at another hotel. Sure, just what we need after an 8 hour drive. They must know how bad it is to even offer to do that. As if that wasn't bad enough, the shower head was filthy, ( I have pictures ) so we didn't dare take a shower. I dont know how bad the other rooms are but take my word, room 262 JUST DON'T GO THERE.

It’s a 2-star property so nothing fancy. Very clean. Be aware that there is a $20/DAY parking add on and a $35/DAY pet fee. I didn’t know that until AFTER I secured my non-refundable room rate. As a result I will not stay there again.

Mr. Dustin was our concierge and he was very helpful and professional. We enjoyed a clean room, clean bathroom and nice beds. The only thing is, that when you book the room they don’t tell you there’s a parking fee of $20/day. Only when the booking is done, they disclose that additional charge. Breakfast was good. We will comeback some other time when it doesn’t rain as much… Thanks.
