First, the good. Check-in went nicely, and the kitchen had basic cookware. There was street parking, and we weren't bothered by outside noise. However, it was disappointing that the place didn't look like the photos, which had apparently been staged. It was more drab, no pictures on the walls, etc. The entrance stairway was dark and dirty, so not a good first impression. The cleaning person arrived after we did, and cleaned up from the previous guests until 30 minutes into our reservation. The wifi wasn't working, and when we contacted the owner they replied they were looking into it, but we never heard anything else and it never started working. There were various other odd issues: Shampoo and soap dispensers in the showers were empty. The kitchen had no spoons. There was coffee, but a 4-cup coffer maker for a place that sleeps 8. There were a washer and dryer, but the dryer exhaust vent wasn't connected to the wall. Also, the power went out due to high wind. It did come back on within a couple hours, but while the owner knew about it, they didn't check on us until telling us the power was back the next morning. Overall, it isn't recommended unless you're ok with something very basic or need this particular area.
