The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The shower itself was quite nice, BUT the curtain didn't go to the floor and the water was not contained. Even using the supplied bath mat, it became soaked. The wifi was very weak.

My family was getting into the elevator coming up from the indoor pool when the elevator door closed on my daughter and granddaughter's head. The sensors in the elevator apparently malfunctioned. This was after waiting until 6pm to check in when the policy states check in at 4pm. We planned our trip around the check in. The front desk staff/manager handling the check in was extremely RUDE. It's now Monday afternoon and no one from the hotel has called to check in on the incident report filed Saturday night regarding the elevator I'm shocked at our experience

The property is older but the rooms have been recently updated. Breakfast was good. Lots of restaurants around the area. The pool could use some cleaning and updating.

STL zoo trip

Our family of 4 stayed in a King suite for 2 nights. The price was pretty reasonable and it was only about 10 minutes from the zoo. Getting to and from was pretty easy. The king bed was comfortable and the bathroom was huge. It had a nice walk in shower and another tub/shower on the other wall. The pull out sofa had a mystery stain, we'll call it tomato soup, on the sheet covering the mattress. The bag in the closet that was supposed to have everything for the sofa bed contained 1 pillow and 1 thin blanket. Talked to the front desk and they sent up new sheets, pillows, and blankets right away. Breakfast was great. It's a free buffet in the hotel's restaurant and had a lot of good options. There were staff that would make waffles and omelets for you too. The pool is both indoor and outdoor. The kids enjoyed swimming under the wall to get outside. It needs some TLC though. Lots of wear and tear around the whole thing. Parking is a little weird. You drive around between the main building and another tower, then cross an alley into the parking garage. Every time you go into the garage you get a ticket that you must take to the front desk to validate. Otherwise you pay whatever the rate is to get out of the garage. There is a skywalk between the 2nd floor of the hotel and the parking garage.

Best sleep I’ve had in a while! Beds are super comfy. It’s quiet and clean. Breakfast was delicious sit-down meal. The night prior we walked to Napoli Italian restaurant, and it was amazing.

Bed bugs!

Hotel has bed bugs. My body is covered in welts. We are cleaning all luggage and everything we were wearing. Not the vacation I hoped for. Will be calling the hotel to ask for a refund. I have pictures of bugs in between mattresses and my bitten body parts.
