Wood dining tables in restaurant had thick layer of grease dirt built up on them. You could take a finger nail had peel up sticky black buildup. Pointed it out to manager and he said that they were going to be replaced. But why are the continuing to use something so nasty

Our family of 10 planned this trip in March, reserving 5 rooms. Check-in was not accomplished though we arrived at 4. The bar area, to wait for our phone call, and told they were out of some of the food; drinks and appetizers were ordered. At 5 p.m. I went to the front desk to inquire --- 2 rooms were ready, 3 were promised in 20 minutes, then "in a little while". An hour later had to get to the game. No shower, no clean up time at all. We still had our luggage and we put it all in one of the 2/5 rooms. Elijah helped us get the remainder of the rooms at 9 p.m.. Everything seemed so unorganized. From check-in to eating in the restaurant. It seemed like all the servers were new hires, which is fine, but not enough training for the crowd there for the Cubs/Cardinals. After all these years it should smooth as silk. Eight of the ten of us decided to go elsewhere to eat after the game. My husband and I went to the bar. First there was a big, loud angry discussion that someone had not been able to get his room, although previously paid for. Then within the bar, a couple got into a loud foul language argument that went on for 20 minutes until the head bartender asked them to leave. Finally. Overall, the hotel itself was very nice; The staff, while being friendly didn't seem to know their job. The rooms were great. Now I will see what my statement says.

Location & Staff worth the inconveniences

Location of this hotel was absolutely perfect for attending a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game as it was a block away from the stadium which was well worth the convenience. Customer service and staff at the hotel were responsive and helpful with inquiries we had. I will say our room seemed a little run down, as in the bathroom all 3 cabinet doors were broken with them basically being propped up and almost fell on my toes and I did let the front desk know this so they would be aware. Also I know Westins are noted for their Heavenly bedding …but our beds only had a bottom sheet and no top sheet & my particular bed the bottom sheet was not even put on the right way so I had to remake the bed so the sheet would cover the bed??? And air conditioning, I think due to extreme heat, was having trouble keeping up as our room never got very cool. Hotel restaurant pizza was great too & a great choice to eat pre-Cardinals game. Overall our hotel stay was good.

Would recommend

Check-in was wonderful! The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom maybe a little upgrade.. but still comfy! Orlando, the valet was just amazing!!!!! Give that man a raise! The bar staff, well just one man, was kind but not very energetic- (trying to be kind). But- stillWould recommend!!
