Everything was great except the check in took too long. The night before we stayed at a Choice Hotel. I walked in gave them my name, they handed me my key and I was on my way. No Questions. Tonight they needed my credit card, wanted to know the names of the adults staying in the room. The hotel is beautiful, staff was very friendly and multiple places to eat in walking distance.. Plus the Police 'department is right across the street.

Hot tub was tiny, and the soundproofing between floors and rooms was non-existent. We were above the pool and below people with concrete feet. Not restful at all. Lobby was also hard to find and not well marked. Breakfast was meh and lacked many options. I've stayed in many cheaper hotels that offered much more.

Spring Break 2025

A little farther out than I had anticipated from St. Louis where my spring break destination was, but it wasn't bad. It was a cute little town, a nice clean area, and food wasn't far away. The facility seemed clean and inviting. The room was fine, we appreciated the separate livingroom type space w/ the sofa bed. I thought when booking it said all bathrooms had grab bars and higher toilet stools, but that wasn't the case. At the time I booked I couldn't get a handicap accessible room so I figured I'd just get a room if all had taller stools and grab bars. Well there was a grab bar at the tub/shower entry but that was it. I do have a handicap mother that had a very hard time in the bathroom and it took two of us to help her on and off the low toilet. The shower was no go. I ended up washing her off w/ a wash cloth because she could not safely get in the shower; however, after the 1st night I did call the front desk to see if any accessible rooms had opened and there was one they were going to switch me to free of charge but my teenagers didn't want to lose the extra living room space so we just dealt with the bathroom. I do appreciate the front desk staff willingness to try and help. Bed was comfy, room was clean, teens liked the extra space in the living room of our deluxe king room our only issue was the breakfast. Not a lot of warm/hot food choices like eggs or a breakfast meat. Just waffles, cereal, toast, english muffin, yogurt, or you could heat up a frozen sandwhich.

Rooms were nice. Breakfast was ok. Only parking was either street side or in parking garage which is all public parking. Police station across the street so everything felt secure.

It smells like urine outside the property. The elevator takes a very long time to pick you up. The front desk charged me $100 instead of $50. Supposed to check on it at check out but nothing he could do or even explain the why. Frustrating to say the least!!! Won’t be back
