Courteous and helpful staff, we had an issue with the TV and a sweet gal came to our rescue! In addition gave us recommendations for restaurants in the area. Grounds inside and out is stunning. Computer area along with puzzles and games available for guests. They host a senior bridge area a few times a week for them to have a place to play since their current area had been affected by the hurricane. Coffee/teas are offered daily until 9pm for coffeeholics is a nice touch! Breakfasts are served on dishes, hlassware and silverware— NO PAPER PLATES or PLASTIC! Pool is not heated but ot a deterrent. We would definitely recommend staying here and plan to return the SPB area!!

All of the staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming, especially the front desk hostess. Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast in the morning was perfect for us with lots of choices. We enjoyed sitting on the quiet porch to eat and plan our day. We highly recommended this gem of a place.

Check in after hours was great. Classic hotel with all the charm and nuances you expect from that heritage. Similar in preservation reminded me of old National Park hotels.
