Overall our experience was very nice. The cleanliness of the property lacked the floors were very dirty and the area carpets are extremely worn and filthy. The parking was a major problem people were parking wherever they wanted it took a couple of phone calls and text to get a spot. Then approximately eight days in a woman came knocking on the door and was very rude about me parking in their spot I explained to her I was told to park there she wanted nothing to do with my explanation. Again I had to text and call to get another spot. Overall we did enjoy our time other the couple of things mentioned above.

Great for kids!

Great location and the unit had beach toys, chairs, umbrellas & beach towels. Fun restaurant/ bar across the street with a good breakfast & dinner as well. The main bedroom mattress was harder than we're used to. During our stay the pool was under construction and closed and the parking spot was also gone due to construction, but we were able to get another spot.

Not terrible... but could use a bit of attention

Over the last 25 yrs, we've stayied in many, many rentals. This property was nice enough but felt like an eclectic mix of leftovers. Most places we've stayed are decorated like the beach vacation they are. As a 3 bedroom and a total of 6 beds, that would seem to me that more towels would be supplied rather than having to wash them for everyone to use again. Also, for cooking and eating there, the silverware was lacking... more forks, steak knives, etc. Also, a larger non-stick skillet would be helpful. A muffin pan would be a nice addition. It would be nice to have a broom/dustpan for easy cleanups as the provided vacuum didn't work very well. I believe the beach items are leftovers from previous renters which is fine as we left a few things behind too. However, there were 2 of the 5 beach chairs that were completely broken, so we made the decision to toss those as they were beyond any sort of fix. I'd also like to have had a throw blanket or two in the main living area as well as extra ones in each bedroom. As for maintenance, I'd suggest a note with instructions for using the TV in main area... we learned it takes about 5-10 minutes for it to sync up to be able to press the "guide" and change channels. The tub in primary bath drains very slowly, the light in primary closet was out, and the top right drawer in primary bath vanity didn't line up to work properly. All in all, the property served our needs but just needs a little more attention for future renters. Thanks

The only thing that sucks about this properly is parking, some units get 2 spots others only get 1, if you bring family and have more than 1 car you are going to have to pay to park your car elsewhere for entire stay. I traveled with a medically complex child as well and they dont have handicap parking, so hopefully youll be able to maneuver. Beach was so close and we were able to walk to whatever we needed for the most part. Had a great time!! Thanks for the experience.

Great condo!

We had a wonderful stay! It was very clean and that is my number one concern. The location was great, we could walk to some really good restaurants. I saw reviews about the bed being so hard, and yes it was, but we slept so good in it. As a matter of fact, I was going to reach out to them to see what kind of mattress it is. You won’t be dissapointed if you stay here.

Great Family Vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at Mad Beach, the condo was great, bigger than we expected. My husband and I brought five teenagers with us and we all had our own beds. Beach was so close and convenient. We would definitely recommend this condo and location. The pool was great, we used it too cool off since the ocean temp was very warm.

The condo was a little dated and the parking situation was a pain. There was only one spot for this condo and we had 8 people staying in it. The air conditioner was not cooling when we arrived but the property manager was quick to check it and send a repair company. The beach was nice!

Love this condo!

My 5 cousins and I have stayed in this condo twice. We love it. It’s clean and the property management company responded quickly to our refrigerator issue. The only downside is their is only one assigned parking space and no place for a 2nd vehicle. We had to pay for offsite parking for one of our two vehicles.

Thank God the beach was gorgeous. Our visit began with learning that we only had one appointed parking spot for a group of 8, with 4 different cars. This meant, we needed to drop off three cars a few miles away at the overcrowded parking garage to pay a separate fee. This is a tourist beach, complete with HOOTERS. Although we were approved for 8 guests and the unit clearly houses many, we were also told there were bath items (shampoo and body wash). However, there were only 4oz of each. Which meant we had to buy more while we were there, we could have just brought it from home. We were also told there were beach chairs in the unit. There were 3 beach chairs, we had 8 people. The beach was beautiful that cannot be denied. The unit beds were hard as rocks, you could bounce a nickel off the bed in the primary bedroom. My husband & I woke up sore from sleep. I think all of these things might have been forgiven, if not overlooked, had it not been for the tremendous number of cockroaches at the building. When we first arrived we saw dozens of roaches on the first floor parking garage. There were dead bodies all over the elevator "lobby" space and the rest were scurrying along the ground. There were some roach carcasses near the beach shower as well. In the unit, we killed two monstrous roaches. I am a Florida native and have visited beaches all my life. This is not normal or acceptable. I have never left a negative review but I tried contacting the host directly with no success.

Sofa and love seat smelled like vomit

The check in process was pretty seamless; however, when we opened the door to the unit, there was a strong vomit smell. We quickly opened the patio doors to get some air flow. We discovered that the smell was coming from the sofa and love seat. The arms of both pieces of furniture smelled so badly of vomit. I quickly texted the contact and he was quick to reply and apologetic. He said they had just removed an area carpet from the living room and thought that was the source of the smell... We moved the love seat onto the balcony the first night as the smell was so bad. The next day the sofa and love seat were steamed cleared thoroughly. We thought that would help but the smell still lingered. We could NOT use the living room at all. Even sitting to eat at the kitchen table was a problem as the smell would waft over. The unit itself was good. Bathrooms updated. Washer and dryer worked well. amazing views of the ocean too. The pool is only open until dusk and there is no hot tub (which I didn't look into before) We were offered 10% off for the smell which I am still trying to fight as that is not enough of a refund. I am unsure how the unit was left with such a smell before we arrived.
