The home itself met our needs, however we were disappointed by the lack of basic amenities during our stay. There were not enough towels provided, very limited dish soap and dishwasher pods, bathroom amenities and no laundry detergent. We expected the property to be set up for 16 people, and though there were enough beds, the amenities such as towels and soap were set for much less than a party of 16. When we reached out to the host to ask if additional supplies could be brought, we were told these items were not provided besides being able to send more towels. We understand every host has different standards, but we do think basic essentials should either be adequately stocked or very clearly communicated in the listing ahead of time so guests can prepare accordingly. The property is also on a very busy main road. This listing shows you have to cross the street to get to the beach, however it does not clearly communicate that you have to cross a very busy road to access the beach. The beach access is also not private, it is just a general beach access. As a party with young kids, we would have appreciated knowing about the busy street as we had to cross this main road for every beach trip. The host was very responsive to our questions, which we appreciated, the property was just not as expected.
