The location of the hotel was great for our visit, however the hotel is very run down. The bathrooms available to use in the main lobby were extremely nasty and not clean. The walls were falling apart and you could see the break down and of what they painted over. The hotel staff, lady at the front, not helpful at all. We were in before our room would be ready which we knew. I waited about 4hours to get an update and when I chose to go check she told me a room would not be available any time soon, it was 2pm. I said what does that mean, not for our check-in time and she said no. I asked her to recheck that as we paid for that check-in time and out of nowhere she had a room within a minute. I felt she lied to me and it was super unprofessional. Lack of space for downstairs to eat. You are local to BayCare, you need more space for people to eat. The rooms don't allow much room to eat with a family of 4 and 1 chair.

Great Service

We had a wonderful stay. The gentleman at the front desk, David was wonderful. I called a few days before our stay to ask several questions and he was able to answer them all. When we were getting off the phone, he said, "See you for breakfast later this week!" He was just as nice in person.

Didn’t realise this was quite so close to a major road intersection so traffic noise is pretty high. They didn’t have any rooms at the rear but luckily we had brought silicone ear plugs - and needed them. Breakfast was busy and confined space - maybe cause it finishes quite early at 9.30 overall it’s a bit tired and could use an upgrade. There were a few restaurants and shops nearby that you could walk to luckily.
