Palm Cottage * King Bed * Tropical Yard

Spacious and private Palm Cottage (520 sf) is in historic downtown Tarpon Springs, walking distance to the world famous sponge docks, located just blocks away from breweries, restaurants, and the Pinellas Trail. And the beach is only 3 mi away! The cottage offers king and twin beds, Wi-Fi, Fire TV, kitchen w/ full stove and fridge, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, dinette, and shared use of the back yard of our 120-year-old Victorian home.

The cottage is private, and the yard was designed to feel like a tropical paradise. Palm Cottage has a private bistro set, great for having a cup of tea or coffee and enjoying the outdoors.

Palm Cottage offers Florida beach town life at its finest. You can rent bikes nearby at Neptune's or Tarpon Tom's. You can rent kayaks or water bikes at Fred Howard. There are dolphin tours, museums, restaurants and so much more within walking distance. Or just hang out in the back yard with a beverage and unwind.

Tarpon Springs was founded in 1876 and thrived for decades on the industry of sponge diving. Now, the town has so much more to offer than sponge diving, but the rich history remains. Palm Cottage is located downtown in a residential historical neighborhood just a few blocks from Tarpon Ave (our "Main Street"). The main home is 121 years old, and the surrounding homes are historic as well.

We chose Tarpon Springs for its walkability. If you need rides to or from the airport or anywhere else, we have a driver we would be happy to refer you to. The Jolly Trolley is a great public transportation option. There's also a 46-mi bike trail one block away, with rental bikes close by as well. The beaches are a short bike or drive away.

property is nicely centrally located in Tarpon springs, entry and exit thru side gate was a little sketchy due to having to walk across an unfinished parking lot. it would have been worse in rainy conditions but was dry so it was manageable

Overall this was a nice place for the price. There were a few little things that would have made it better. For example, there was just one wine glass, could not find a good sized bowl anywhere, and the toilet paper provided it was that onion thin type so we just went out and bought our own. Also although the cleanliness was adequate there were some areas that could have used attention.

Sweet cottage

A wonderfully remodeled backyard cottage walking distance to town. A minor plumbing issue repaired the next day. Great kitchen although we only used the fridge.The bed was so soft , sadly not in a good way. Terrible mattress with 2 troughs to lie in. Otherwise it was a 5*.

This stay was almost perfect. The location was central all the places we wanted to visit. Most within walking distance. The property was well maintained and the unit itself was immaculate. There was construction going on but that is not the fault of the host. Would definitely book again

Wonderful Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Palm Cottage for two weeks in January (except for the weather---cold, through no fault of owners). Loved the king bed, comfie mattress, the cottage had everything we needed. Parking was well lit. It was nice to walk easily to downtown Tarpon Springs, to Walmart, to the Spring Bayou. On a few nice days we enjoyed sitting outside on the lovely patio. Thank you so much.

Home away from home

My daughters and I had a wonderful vacation. Palm cottage was absolutely wonderful. Everything was clean, kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable. The patio was private and relaxing. The location could not have been any better We would absolutely stay there again and recommend to family and friends!
