Enjoyed the stay was a cute cozy property and room. But the room wasn’t what was advertised. Room shown was larger and better laid out. Ours you couldn’t even lay in bed and watch tv. Over all it ended up being a nice stay especially when we could use the bbq to make a nice meal and enjoy it over looking the water. But the establishment is in need of a few more updates and repairs but since many are still recovering from the hurricane’s it’s understandable. Many local eateries in walking distance are still closed but we did find good ones to go to still. I would recommend this place if you like small and cozy.

Beautifully maintained older resort across the street from the beach. Lots of restaurants to walk to. Our room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our 5 night stay very much. I highly recommend.

Great little motel close to beach

Great value. Older motel but all new kitchenette and beds. Well stocked kitchen with 2 burner cooktop, toaster and 12 cup coffee maker. Beach towels available at the small pool and chairs to take to the beach. This motel is on inland waterway with a dock, bbq's by the water.walking distance to many restaurants, bars and stores. Trolley stop on the street in front. Really cute place with attentive staff.

Quaint, friendly, great location

Great location, right across the main street from the ocean. Backside of the property was on the inlet. Spacious one bedroom with a separate living room upstairs. Clean and comfortable. The owner was a character. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Would definitely recommend staying here. Small, quaint, friendly.

The property has been updated since hurricanes so it was nice, newer construction improvements. The pool area looked nice. We booked double beds & was given a single king. This worked out fine for us, but this was our only complaint

We loved our stay here! Beautiful property, spacious room. And the beach is a short walk across the street. We really enjoyed grilling our dinner and caught tons of fish in the backyard off the little pier! Owners are awesome. Thanks for the hospitality! We will be back!

Amazing stay!

This was an “old-Florida” experience. There was a separate bedroom and living room/kitchen area (fridge, dishes, microwave, coffe pot). It is across the street from Redington Beach and sits on the waters of the river where we saw manatee. The bed is comfortable and the facilities are clean. There were also beach chairs and umbrellas to borrow for a day at the beach.

Great place to stay and enjoy the weekend

Had a great experience overall, customer service is great, rooms are well equipped and clean, parking is limited, but they do a great job making sire everyone has a parking spot, my only negative experience was having neighbors talking so loud and laughing until midnight right in front of my door as they have chairs and tables in front of the rooms, I was hoping to rest of my weekend gateway, other than that, it was a great time

I would return to Sand Vista Vacation Rentals in a heartbeat. In fact, I do plan to return. This was a local getaway as I live in Central Florida and it was absolutely splendid. The ocean (Gulf of Mexico) literally is right across the street. The property is quaint, well kept, quiet, clean and pet friendly. I enjoyed my stay!!!!!!

Stay away from The very Unpleasant Owner Shawn

I was verbally attacked by the owner (Shawn) of this hotel in front of my children at 10:30 because I told Hotel.com that I found a huge roach in the room and my child went crazy and she did not want to go into the room. He claims we live in Florida and that is not a roach, yet he was extremely aggressive. He banged on my door like he was the police.He was extremely pissed off cursing in front of my children because supposedly I posted this online, which I never did until now.This was the scariest and most humiliating traumatizing to me and my children. However, The property Manager is a lady Colleen the sweetest and Lourdes, she has no idea what had happened that night, she does live on the property but had no information until I said something to her. She was pleasant and hear my complaint but she only works there, The Man who traumatized my kids is the Owner. I do have pictures of the "palmetto bug" as he called it. Hotels.com did absolutely nothing about to try to remove us from there.

Perfect location

Everything was fabulous we spent 5 days at our favorite beach. The rooms are small but we were just sleeping and cooking breakfast so it was perfect for us. The beach is right across the street several beach chairs and umbrellas to use for guest definitely an added bonus. The place was very clean and had lots of cute decor around the property.
