The staff was welcoming and helpful. Having the washer and dryer in our suite was super helpful. We could not have asked for a better location. We were in walking distance to the beach, a park was right across the street and there were many good restaurants nearby. Our daughter wants to live in the Avalon.

Ecesivamente extrictos con la limpiesa demasiado olor a cloro cuando solisite limpiar mi abitasion me dijeron que no se podia por que debia solisitarlo el dia anterior les mensione que solo queria aspiradora y que recogieran la basura se negaron nunca hubo una flexibilidad con el cliente cuando uno va a bacasional , me se relaja y deconecta lo menos que piensa es que debes de avisar el dia antes , tambien cobraron cargos que no aparecen en los detalles de la propiedad cuando buscas informacion antes de haser la reserva como el parqueo y que si encuentran una colilla de sigarro te cobran 300 dolares y puede varian hasta mas dinero, la viata que promeeten del balcon al oceano es limitada por otro hotel que queda alfrente , las acesibilidades como food store quedan distantes debes de usar carro , no existe una comunicacion de hasia el cliente como si fuera ayudarte en cualquiera de los casos , yo no recomiendo esta propiedad para bacasional si lo que deseas es una unidad militar con demasiadas restriciones y farta de ayuda de parte del teen de manager y sus trabajadores del front desk entonses estas en el hotel correcto

Overall the property was clean; however, it was a great disappointment to see the street light with wires as an ocean view literally right outside your balcony. I also didn’t appreciate upon greeting the staff stressed about the fees instead of stressing what is already included, such as the beach chairs, umbrella etc…

Resort and room were very clean. On the beach a huge bonus. Staff extremely friendly. Downsides: The phrase "Total includes taxes and fees" is not correct. Was hit with a resort and parking fee after booking. Unacceptable. Include them in final price or show "additional fees" prior to booking. Rooftop bar closes too early. Fitness center closes too early. Photo on website shows beautiful Adirondack chairs but resort gave out used/dirty beach chairs. Free towels were also quite harsh. Glad we brought our own. Bottom line - would stay here again but only when "added fees" are removed.

Excellent property! Wonderful staff and amenities. Would definitely stay again. As with the other feedback, the daily parking rate is expensive.

The people were really nice. I wish Travelocity would've made it more clear that I was not going to get room cleaning and and that you stuck. Yes they said a side view to the ocean, but it was pretty poor. Hard to believe they would even say that that's what you get when you're really, just staring at another building.

Disappointed!!

Very disappointed when arrived! Info on description was “on the beach”. Definitely NOT on beach, close, but NOT ON!!! That is what I “thought” I was paying for!!

My stay at the Avalon was great! The staff was really nice and always asked if we needed anything. The room was so nice! It had everything we needed for our stay. Pots, pans, silverware, cup, plates everything. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Clearwater.

Nice. On the beach. Provided chairs, toys, and umbrellas for the beach daily. Perfect for families. Only con is there are no guest showers and late check outs are not avaliable. If you want to visit the beach on your last day there is no where for you to shower and change before heading to the airport. Our entire family of six was cramed into the second floor restroom with our luggage changing clothes. The floor was full of sand when we entered the restroom so it seems like everyone does the same thing. Would I stay there again ? Yes.
