* NEIGHBORHOOD - We are in a friendly area on the outskirts of a very small and quaint rural Montana town. It's usually pretty quiet here, but you may hear children playing in their yards, ATVs and diesel trucks driving around, cockerels crowing, dogs barking, church bells ringing or the sound of a train travelling through on the other side of town. On rare occasion you might even hear the volunteer fire brigade siren go off. If you are a really light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs, but we don't get any complaints about noise. One of the best things about St Regis, no light pollution, so as long as there aren't too many clouds, you should have an amazingly clear & crisp view of the stars and the Milky Way at night.
