This stay at Residences de Metifiot was very good. The service with their staff was very good as well. The room was clean and the surrounding was quiet and walkable to town. My expectations of a stand up shower was disappointing. If you’re accustomed to the “Italian” shower then this is what they have for a 2 person room. I was informed by the staff that the larger rooms have regular showers. We’re a fairly fit couple for 75 and 79 yr olds, but to have to climb into a tub, sit down and hold the shower head without any grab bars was a bit of a challenge. There’s no shower curtain or any enclosure around the tub and the hand held shower hose is about 10” from the rim of the tub. We had to sit down in the tub to shower. We managed for our 4 day stay. We just thought it was important to let folks know before they book a room for 2 that it can be challenging for showering for older folks.

A perfekt place to stay - we took an extra day and stayed for 4 days. 10 minuts walk from the center, nice and quiet place, very clean, good breakfast, very nice staff and god parkingplace - nothing not to like😀
