4 Level Luxury Cottage on East Beach, Private Pool, Roofdeck, Game Room, Bikes

Floataway Cottage is a pristine, incredibly elegant, four-level ocean view home with private plunge pool. The cottage is a three-minute walk to Olive Way Beach access on East Beach and is one of only a handful all wood boardwalks to the beach. Each Beach is the only beach on St. Simons that can be used during high and low tide.

The cottage features six bedrooms, six and a half baths, and sleeps 12.

A gated courtyard with grilling area and private plunge pool welcomes you to our home. Inside, a large foyer greets you and has elevator service to all four levels. The second floor has four bedrooms and a casual living area with a workspace and desk that seats two. The third floor features a spacious great room, well-equipped kitchen, and a dining room that can accommodate 12. A large balcony is off the dining room. The first of three master suites is on this floor.

The fourth floor completes the home with two additional master suites, one which looks over the ocean and has a private balcony. A morning bar and keeping room separate the two suites. The surprise of the home is a large roof deck which has stunning views of the Atlantic and features seating and dining for the entire family.

The lower level has a game room with a ping pong table and access to a garage.

The cottage has a total of six bedrooms and six and half baths. The 2nd Floor has four bedrooms, three with queen beds, and one with two twin beds. All have private bathrooms. There is a half bath on this 3rd floor. The 4th Floor has two master suites, each with king beds and private baths. All of the master baths have separate showers and tubs.

The entire house has wi-fi, each living area has a television and six of seven bedrooms have televisions. There is a whole house audio system.

There is a laundry rooms on the second floor. The plunge pool can be heated for an additional fee. Bikes, beach chairs, and beach towels are provided for your use.

Great vacation home. Plenty of room to spread out. We had 6 adults and 5 children. Beautifully decorated. Fantastic location. 3 minute walk to the beach. Could ride bikes to restaurants. Kids and adults enjoyed the pool. Loved that the pool was mostly shaded to get a break from the sun. Very quick responses from the owner. Highly recommend.

Staying at this property has provided our family with rich memories. There is no other property like it with the elegant comfort of well-appointed rooms, proximity to the beach, and considerate touches with everything you could want in the kitchen, a pool, a ping pong table, bicycles, and working elevator. Cousins Reunion

I booked this for 12 cousins to get together for a few days for a reunion. This was a fantastic property. The place was very clean and you wanted for nothing. Everything we needed there we found. It was well designed and well built with plenty of private bathrooms. Everything worked, Like Sheldon & Leonard's apartment the cabinets were all labelled so you knew where and how many dishes to put away when they were clean. The mattresses were out of this world. Some of the best sleep I've ever had away from home. Climate control worked perfectly. Owner engaged with us and was available to us via text; even texted us when it was ready so we could occupy it a bit early. Table was perfect for game night. Main/only suggestion: slip mats for the showers. Thanks for a great stay! Here are some comments from the guests: "I was impressed with the whole building. The design was well laid out and the decor felt luxurious. Private bathrooms were well appreciated. The large table was my favorite place for gathering around for conversation and we were 12 people and the house never once felt crowded." "Yes! It was Fantastic ...I especially loved the Mattress! And! The entire Bedding...all made for a Fabulous night's sleep" "The elevator was fun! Operating it was like a childhood fantasy come true. Lol! " "The accommodations were perfect. Awesome Property!

It was so nice to stay at this property. Close to the beach and restaurants. The home was very clean and accessible with all the convenances of home, especially the kitchen which had all the utensils, pots/pans and dinnerware you need to cook your own meals, even spices! The views from the rooftop patio were super nice with a nice ocean breeze at night. The host, Paul, was very responsive and very nice to work with. Would highly recommend this property for your stay at St. Simon Island!

Second Stay!

My extended family (grandparents, adult children, and grandchildren) first stayed at this property in June 2023 and had such a great experience we immediately booked it again for June 2024. Our most recent stay was just as great. The house is the best equipped vacation house I've stayed in, from the kitchen to the bikes and beach gear. It's impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and has everything a large family could need for an excellent trip. It's just a short (3 minute) bike ride to the beach and a smooth easy bike ride to all the island restaurants and shopping. The owner, Paul, was extremely responsive to a few questions we had on our trip. Love SSI and love this house! Will definitely book again in the future!

Perfect spot for a girls trip!

This is our 2nd stay and the place is perfect for our annual girls trip. The home is beautifully decorated and fully equipped for cooking. The beds are super comfy and the elevator and pool are wonderful perks.

Awesome House

12 Friends over 65 had a super time in Saint Simons. This house is just wonderful. The rooftop deck, the ensuite bedrooms, the organization of the kitchen(a label for everything), and the beauty of the decor, and the location were just great. We have already booked another stay we enjoyed it so much!

The property proved to be better than the pictures. High end finishes, beautifully appointed, wonderfully stocked. Perfect location to East End beach. Paul was super accessible. We had a refrigerator issue upon arrival but in 3 hours on a Saturday afternoon we had a new fridge!! He can work magic. Highly recommend Floataway for your SSI stay
