The only thing we really didn't like (as we've found in all hotels/motels) are the bed pillows - wish they would invest in foam rubber pillows - those they currently use are horrible!

I imagine this hotel was quite impressive 20–30 years ago, but today it feels outdated. The breakfast was disappointing—poor in quality and limited in choice, with a staff member handing you a pre-set “meal” rather than a buffet or menu. On the positive side, the location is nice and quiet. However, be prepared to carry your luggage, as the property consists of multiple buildings and may require a bit of walking.

Nice buffet breakfast. They even made my waffle for me. Used the gym and lots of great places to eat nearby. If you are doing a day trip to Charleston, stay here and save a ton on a hotel room.

The room was very clean and had enough chairs. There was no exhaust fan in Bathroom and the shower pan was so low that water ended up all over the floor after every shower. Food was not the best choices, but we loved Lisa who took care if serving the food!

Very lovely and friendly staff. Good price. Didn’t like the ashtray and people smoking right by the entrance (I had to walk thru clouds of cigarette smoke twice to get inside) and didn’t like that my room jacuzzi tub didn’t work!
