They had a water problem at this hotel. If you need a shower, I would not recommend staying here. The first morning, I turned on the water for the shower and it took 10 mins to warm up enough to be tolerable (it was still barely warm). The second morning, the same thing, but just after I entered the shower, the water stopped coming out! So no shower for me! The staff said it was a problem that the water was not able to get to a higher floor (we were on the 8th floor), but I didn't think that was a good excuse. I heard other guests complaining with the same problem. They need to get this fixed or I will not stay here again!

Conflicting policies!!

Upon arrival, there was nowhere to park because of all these electrical service trucks parked in the check-in area. My biggest problem was that the hotel charged the credit card on file with Hotels.com without asking, prior to my arrival, even though i had chosen the pay at hotel option. When I arrived, they said it was a Hotels.com issue, when I called Hotels.com they said it was a hotel issue. No one could give me a straight answer. I have been using this app for several years and never encountered this issue. This caused me to make additional payments on a credit card I didn’t want to make.

Okay, but not for the price.

There were crumbs on the floor when we got to the room. The beds appeared clean and the bathroom was clean. The room was small for the price. It did have a keurig, with some k cups. The light switches were confusing, the one outside the bathroom had to be on for the bathroom lights to work. The guide on the remote worked half the time. The alarm clock wasnt the right time.. and frankly i didnt feel like changing it. There was a small fridge, no microwave. Breakfast was a nice variety. Not wonderful but decent.

This is our favorite place to stay at State College. It is conveniently located to the campus of Penn State University with everything walking distance away. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast, lobby and workout center make your stay more enjoyable.
