We had a delightful stay at the Reynolds mansion. It is a gorgeous historic home with beautiful woodwork and elegant touches throughout. We stayed in the colonel's green room, an excellent choice. The staff was outstanding- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and available. The food was delicious, with homemade snacks and happy hour treats as well as a hearty breakfast. It was a reasonable drive to our State College event as well- why stay in a boring expensive hotel?

The property is a jewel of Victorian architecture, and is run by folks who are the warmest and friendliest people I have ever experienced at a B&B. Bellefonte itself is worth a stop for its many late 19th century mansions. Breakfasts were great and all in all it was an outstanding experience.
