The rooms were very clean and classy. Quiet atmosphere with elegant decor for the price. Only complaint was the bar service at the main bar. They seemed annoyed to serve the crowd that followed the show. They closed the bar even though it was full of people wanting to stay. This was not a rowdy college crowd by any means. I would say the average age of the group was 45+. Seemed like a missed opportunity for the hotel and staff to make a bit more money for another 3- 60 minutes or so. I understand they wouldnt want to promote staying open till 2-3 am.But another 30 minutes probably would have gotten them more sales and tips.

Delightful place to stay at Penn State that captures the grandeur of its rich and vast past making a home away from home type stay for alumni and parents. Wonderful hotel. A must stop for all Penn State supporters.

The room was great!! everyone was wonderful! What a cute little spot to stay!!! As a frequent business traveler it is a challenge, leaving my familiar city and heading into a new location. With apps and the Internet and all of our booking options… we have to make a choice of a living arrangement sight unseen. That is why these customer reviews hold such value for me. Not everyone is going to have the same experience or opinions but. The bottom line is this is a lovely spot and I would stay here again. Plenty of bang for your buck!
