3 min walk to ski access! 2 Story chalet original to mountain!

**Stay Play Steamboat**

Welcome to our family’s Steamboat retreat, loved since 1975 and now cared for by a second-generation sibling duo. One of the original resort units in the area, this 3-bedroom, 2-bath end unit offers a true slice of Steamboat Springs history—blending cozy charm with unbeatable slope access.

Location, Location, Location!

• Ski-in/ski-out access just a 3-minute walk away! Skip the hassle of parking, lugging gear, or corralling tired kids (I was carrying my own skis down this short walk by age 4!). From there, ski down and then hop on the gondola! A map of the ski access point is available on request.

Cozy Mountain Living

• After a day on the slopes, gather in front of the wood-burning fireplace in a living room framed by dramatic two-story windows on three sides.
• The open floor plan makes it easy to relax, entertain, and stay connected—whether you’re enjoying a family dinner at the dining table or sipping a quiet morning coffee in the kitchen nook.

Room for Everyone

• Upstairs, three bedrooms comfortably sleep your crew, each with a queen bed and closet space.
•The spacious loft bedroom features a folding wooden privacy wall for flexibility, a full length mirror, and walk-in closet.
• The primary bedroom boasts a balcony with mountain views and a TV with Roku streaming.
• The middle bedroom is great for kids and offers a small desk and closet.
• The upstairs bath includes a dual-sink vanity and a separate tiled tub/shower space, while the downstairs bath offers a walk-in shower.

Thoughtful Details

• Entrance foyer with ski racks & “wet room” setup
• Roku TV in living room with guest mode allows you to login to all of your usual subscriptions and live streaming.
• Complimentary highspeed WiFi.
• Two dedicated parking spaces.
• Free city bus stops at the end of the street.
• Dining for 8 + for easy hosting and family dinners.

Local Experiences

When you’re not on the slopes, enjoy Steamboat’s famous hot springs. Strawberry Park Hot Springs and Old Town Hot Springs are both just minutes away—soak in the natural mineral waters surrounded by mountain views, year-round. Steamboat's natural hot springs are much cleaner and more theraputic than traditional hot tubs!

**A Note on Accessibility**

Our home maintains its original mountain character, including narrow spiral stairs inside and exterior stairs from the parking lot. Please review photos carefully, as this layout may not be ideal for guests with mobility challenges.

Our Promise

We partner with a trusted local cleaning team—100% of cleaning fees go directly to them. From the moment you arrive, we want you to feel right at home and create lasting memories, just as our family has for decades.
