The location and amenities were great. Lots of great places to walk to. Only issue was the directions for entry into the building/unit inaccurate (actually were for a different building) and the management company wasn’t able to help did not understand

The condo was excellent. Location is right in the middle of downtown. Conveniently close to food and shopping. Big issue with loud music from the restaurant below, at times playing loudly until past 11pm. We were unable to sleep b/c of the volume.

Steamboat Springs is a vibrant mountain town every time of the year we have visited. There are a ton of food options and no limit to things to do. This spacious property is right in the middle of everything downtown. The check-in process was smooth even though we’re arrived after hours, but you do have to check in and out at a separate location from the property itself. This is a high quality rental and worth the stay.

The access codes given we’re not correct. The beds were not comfortable. The floors were dirty. Dust bunnies floating in the air. When you sit in the chairs and couches, you sink almost to the ground. The air conditioning controls don’t function properly. The doors to the patio stick and you could barely get in or out. No information to control TV.

My family enjoyed our time in Steamboat so much, the kids asked if we could stay forever. Staying at Howelsen Place was a big part of the experience. The unit is spacious, tastefully decorated, and comfortably furnished. The location is perfect. Walking distance to Old Town Hot Springs, shopping, and more restaurants than we had time to explore, while the ski resort and many popular trailheads are only a short drive away. We had a car, so we didn't avail ourselves of the private shuttle service, which would be key for getting to and from the resort base during ski season. We are already looking ahead to a repeat visit next summer.
